Sells vegan beer such as Tiger and Heineken. Juices & shakes are also served. There is a bean cushion seating area. Mondays to Fridays: Last orders for food at 9.30pm. Restaurant closes at 10pm. Last orders for food at 10.30pm. Restaurant closes at 11pm. Open Mon-Fri 11:00am-10:00pm, Sat 11:00am-11:00pm. Closed Sun.

Delicious ’filthy vegan’ burgers - Edit

Food options are many & definitely very western. I chose a cold coffee with coconut condensed milk that was delicious. Daughter had the basic burger and I had the burger with facon, cashew cheese & fries…it was fantastic!! Wanted to try the desserts but too full from the burgers. Definitely recommend trying this place if you’re in HCMC

Generous serving size, good food, not so best location though - Edit
Was with my non-vegan family who enjoyed the nachos, pizza and dessert. We're not too fond of the hotdog maybe because it was a little soft to our liking and how it's seasoned (the hotdog itself, not the 'toppings'). I love the fact that all those we tried were not overly salty nor oily yet remained flavorful. The nacho chips (pita?) as well as the pizza crust appeared to be homemade? I feel like any item from their menu is already good for 2-3 people. Not too fond of sweets but decided to try the oreo cheesecake- it was okay but would easily melt if ordered for to go. Wanted to try the Apple Pie but it was sold out already. Chocolate brownie's not too bad. As for the location, well, the store below's pretty offputting because of the amount of liquid that's thrown on the floor making it slippery. The owner of Filthy Vegan's pretty nice by the way! He's also the one who prepares and serves the food.

Read moreMy partner and I went by this place after reading all the raving reviews. We weren’t disappointed. I don’t usually have a difficult time choosing, but this menu was both huge and chock full of incredible options. The place feels a little like home, with primarily western style dishes and it does them all justice.
On top of the great food the owner is a lovely person with a great sense or humour. He’s also elevating the entire HCMC vegan scene by reviewing countless restaurants around the city and putting them on the (m)app. He and his family definitely deserve all of the patronage we can give them.
Oh, and kittens!

After a month in Vietnam it was so great to have some home comfort food at the end of the trip. I had the sausage, mash, peas and gravy (no photo because I inhaled it) and the Oreo cheesecake. Everything was great, including the cats and the owner Kieron's friendly chat.

This is a really great place to get vegan western food. I’ve tried two meals so far and they were both equally delicious. The owner is a great guy to hang out with as well, we spent a couple of hours just now talking about life and everything. The kittens are super cute. Read moreIt’s taken us five years but off the plane, dump the bags at the hotel and we were back pushing delicious burgers into our faces within an hour of being back in Vietnam. So glad to still have Filthy Vegan while we’re here in Ho Chi Minh City. Great to see Kieron too, he remembered us which made catching up after all this time even better 👌🍻
Love this place, and consider it one of the biggest reasons to come to the city. Miss it and I’ll never forgive you.

Kieron has a wide variety of western junk food that is deliciously vegan! It's nice to have some comfort food once in a while when traveling 🙂 We loved the veggie burrito, and drooled over the first Hawaiian vegan pizza we have had since switching vegan. Kieron is a great guy, and really making good efforts to progressing veganism and promoting other small businesses. Great find on our visit!

One of the best places for vegan junk food in HCMC - Edit
Great place to visit for some comforting Western vegan food. We love the spaghetti and burger and all the desserts were fantastic. There are hits and misses with the menu but that’s the same with every place, you just have to try for yourself and see. The owner has a great sense of humor, his sarcasm may be mistaken by some as rudeness but in our experience that is never the case. Dishes are filling and large in portion, you certainly wouldn’t get the same price for the same quantity at any other Western vegan restaurants here.

We went there with my friend because we didn’t want to eat asian food at that evening. There were good options to choose and I chose pizza fries for starter. My friend took some burger. We also ate dessert. Food was good and the owner was funny. They have also very cute cat. The prices are a bit higher than average vietnamese food.

Read morePotatoes cost 60.000 pee kilo. Then I use a lot of gas to cook them. They are homemade. Vietnamese rice costs around 15.000 per kilo. When cooked in the rice cooker, the rice weighs around 3 kilos. Another food you mentioned is pizza. All made by me. Very labour intensive. The pizza dough made by me. The pizza sauce is homemade and so is my famous cashew cheese. I use imported nutritional yeast in the cheese. Not cheap at all. I hope this helps with the pricing. And as you know my portions are huge.
