Delicious pastries - Edit
Great little spot on a walking street with lots of seating shared with other restaurants on the street. The pastries were really nice, and everything is ready to eat, so you can order and takeaway or eat there very quickly.

All-vegan deliciousness - Edit
Great variety of sweet and savoury. Ingredients are listed for all items. They deliberately do not use the word vegan anywhere to avoid scaring off non-vegans. I had the cinnamon snail and the wholewheat sugar croissant and they were both lovely.

Lovely all-vegan pastry shop - Edit
Vegan pastries aren't very common in shops in Budapest, so this place really fills a gap! I have tried several types of their pastries in the past few years, and I have never been disappointed by either the texture or the taste. I usually only get to visit in the evening hours, shortly before they close, but the pastries aren't dry or crumbly by this time either - in fact, they still taste and feel nice the morning after, as breakfast. My favourites are the several flavours of pogácsa - their texture is especially lovely!
Read moreI only wish there were more places like this in the city, or that their products were also available elsewhere - oh, and that the opening hours also included the weekend.
Pros: nice selection, tasty pastries
Cons: not open during weekends

I loved the cinnabon snail, I didn't taste the peanutbutter in the chocolate/peanutbutter croissant but they have so many options, savory as well and the prices are really good, like €1 or so per thing so no harm in trying!

Great this place is all vegan sweet and savoury pastries! We tried the cocoa swirl and jam swirl as well as the bread ‘French fries’ and a smoky roll.
Read moreThe pastry wasn’t fresh or flaky- a bit bready but it was enjoyable. The jam in the jam swirl was grainy.
The smoky roll was really nice. The french fries were a bit plain. Amazing value for money with each item coming in at about £1.

Read moreAs a little family-owned bakery with a small staff we only bake in the morning, from 4am until noon, more or less. Presumably you came in the late afternoon, when obviously the pastries are a little less fresh, but we are glad you still found them enjoyable. :)
"French fries" are a very simple product which you can spice up with our homemade ketchup or mayonnaise. ;)
Thanks again.

Amazing vegan bakery - Edit
I was so excited to try this bakery based on the reviews. I really love being able to try vegan versions of local foods, especially when so much love is clearly put into them like at this bakery. I absolutely loved the chocolate walnut snail with homemade apricot jam on top, it was so incredibly delicious. I also got 4 pogascas, one of each flavor. My favorites were the rosemary pumpkin and the potato pumpkin seed. I also tried the mushroom ravioli and spring roll, both were pretty tasty. I also really loved the marcipan kifli. After I ate the rest of my pastries for lunch I had to come back to grab some snacks for my long evening bus ride. I got another snail because it was seriously to die for. I was bummed to find out they're not open on the weekends though, but first thing Monday morning (my last day) I rushed over to get some breakfast and lunch for later. If they were open on the weekend I probably would've been here every morning because it was all so good! The lady at the window seemed less than excited to serve me in English but she was kind enough helping me decide which snail to get. Even days later I am still craving these pastries. Definitely going here again if I make it back to Budapest.

Okay - Edit
I went there two times. I had the chocolate roll (because they didn’t have cinnamon rolls both times) and another pastry. Both were good, but not too special and a little dry. First time the lady working there was friendly and helping us with the selection, the second time the service was definitely worse. Worth a try, but don’t set your expectations too high.

Okay - Edit
I ordered about half of the things offered, and I would say about half of the things eaten were good, the other half were… okay. The lady at the window was rude. No smile, no trying to help me learn the words when I asked, no replies to anything (and she did speak English).

Amazing vegan bakery!! - Edit
We had the "chocolate snails", the plum dumpling and the four different hungarian "pogachas" and everything was so, so tasty! The snails were chocolately and goey and the pogachas really surprised us with their different flavours! Especially the cheesy one was soooo tasty! It kind of tasted like the pretzel buns, overbaked with cheese and bacon which I often had in my childhood. Prices are absolutely fair!
