Always keen to try as many types of dishes as possible, I opted for three starters, as opposed to a main course. Boy was I pleased. Mandu dumplings, rice cakes and pancake, it all proved to be rather delightful. A minor letdown was the dessert, a matcha crème brûlée that didn't quite do it for me.. but hey, that's why you have Alaska Bar waiting for you in Neukölln, right?

I ordered the breaded tofu with peanut butter sauce, ramen noodles with vegetables and tofu in coconut soup, and the jasmine tea. I wasn't expecting everything to be so tasty, the tofu was super smooth and light, delicious just combined with the peanut sauce; the vegetables had a lot of flavour, and the soup was also very tasteful; the jasmine tea also had a very pure taste 😁 will definitely come here when I can.

This is the only Korean vegan restaurant that I've ever been to, so I don't have a ton to compare it to, but the food was good! The service was great. My favorite thing about this restaurant was how beautiful the teas are and the option for lovely outdoor seating. I liked the tea called "boys over flowers" with roses and goji berries in it. I got C3 sweet potato glass noodles, and the portion was huge. My favorite appetizer was the kimchi dumplings.

Wir waren zum Mittag dort und wurden direkt vom sehr freundlichen und zuvorkommenden Personal zu unserem Tisch geführt. Als wir uns die Karte ansahen, waren wir direkt von der mehr als üppigen Auswahl begeistert. Bis wir unser Essen bekamen vergingen keine 10 Minuten und geschmacklich wurden wir komplett überzeugt. Der Preis von 25€ (inkl. Trinkgeld) war für zwei Personen top.

We had the Korean BBQ for 2 people and some starters. Everything tasted great, nice atmosphere and it wasn't expensive, especially considering that the portion sizes were pretty decent.

Took two non-vegan friends and they seemed to like it. They ordered the Deep Fried Tofu, Black Pink Shake, Alltime Classic Ramen, and Yellow Lemonade. Only complaints were lack of spice in the ramen.
Read moreI got the Ga Chay Gion Cary, which was very good (especially the baked soy strips), and the Detox Green smoothie, which tasted like avocado mixed with warm water (bad).
At the end, we were guilted for not tipping enough, which I haven’t seen elsewhere in Berlin (or Europe).

I have not had the chance to try a lot of Korean food, and I love what they serve here. For starters we tried the pancake, which honestly could have been a main for me as it was so substantial, and the kimchi dumplings, which were really nicely seasoned without being too fiery. For the main we got the 2 person BBQ. The staff were kind enough to explain to two novices how to cook the food. It was again an absolutely massive portion, and we were disappointed we couldn't finish it. The sauce was really tasty, the vegetables and mock meat offered some interesting textures, and the noodles, rice, and pickles were all good too.
