- Edit
Super lecker Falafel Teller, sehr schön zusammen gestellt.

All contains garlic - Edit
Straight at tram stop "Am Wendentor" not too far away f/ inner city. Sadly, all food items contain garlic. Open on Sundyay and holidays. Small shop, very few seats inside, around 8 seats outside. Food might be perfectly okay, three stars just because we could not get any food.

Sehr lecker, aber leider auch sehr schmutzig. - Edit

Tasty and affordable - not 100% vegan, though - Edit
I really like the place, it offers very tasty food for a very low price. They also have discounts for students, and they offer several desserts. Only one of the staff members is not so polite, but he is fast and he does the job. Others are very friendly, and so far I am a regular customer.
Read moreMy recommendation: try the lentil soup.
However, it is very important to state that one of the desserts is not vegan (i think it's called maamoul). And they also offer ayran, which is kind of a version of yogurt.
Anyways, you should always ask if something is vegan, just to be sure.
p.s. Some of the staff don't even know what "vegan" means, which is fine by me, as long as they provide vegan food.
Pros: Very affordable, Tasty food, Fast service
Cons: Not 100% vegan, Some of the workers not so friendly

An update: none of the desserts are vegan. I have seen the ingredients list. Once again, always ask what is vegan and what not.

lovely, fresh and not greasy - Edit
Simple but effective. Lots of choice between hot dishes like wraps, couscous dishes, soup, then salad, good variety and all ready within minutes. It's incredibly cheap, I got about 800ml of lentil soup and a foot long falafel wrap (tailored to my taste by making it mild) for 5.50€! Incredible! Some of the food (soup) is heated with the microwave, but I have no problem with that and it tasted great. You couldn't notice any grease, garlic or other means some places use to make something taste stronger with little effort. It just tastes like its components, which was lovely.

Best falafel I've eaten! - Edit
Very friendly staff, and they were able to speak English. I went here in January, and the place was well heated and had comfy seats. The falafel was honestly the best I've had, and what makes it even more great was the price. At just 5 euro I got a plate of falafel with cabbage and pita, which filled me up for the rest of the day. Highly recommended for those on a budget!

best falafel ever - Edit
Just 3 euros for a big and delicious falafel wrap or pita! Me and my non-vegetarian boyfriend could not get these off our minds afterwards and we came to Braunschweig for a second time a few weeks later mainly just to eat here! The man who served us was also lovely!

Awesome!!! - Edit

sooo affordable and delicious - Edit
I've come here for the first time for dinner tonight and I'm very pleasantly surprised! One of my vegan friends comes here 3/4 times a week because he loves it so much. I don't love falafel but wanted to give it a chance.
Read moreOnly one menu item out of 10 or so is not vegan, so there are plenty of choices and they are all very cheap. The least expensive is €3 and the most is only €6! I think the also give a small discount for students on the falafel pita.
I think I will become addicted!
