Tutto vegano e buonissimo - Edit
In 2 abbiamo provato 4 piatti diversi: tutti molto buoni e saporiti (lasagne, polpette…). Alla fine ero talmente piena ma non ho resistito e ho preso il dolce da portar via. Buonissimo!

…with very nice interior and a good selection, from vegan tuna sandwich (lighter snacks / to go), ice cream (vegan yogurt, amarena, cheesecake and more flavors! 😍), cakes and of course pasta dishes.
Read moreI especially loved the ravioli with sage and vegan butter! The dish with seitan and roasted potatoes was alright, but it wasn’t the best Seitan I had.
Gnocchi with pepper sauce were good too.
The tuna-sandwich looked a little sad (no salad-leaf or tomato slice or so), but it tasted great! The tuna-cream was yummy and the rich, oily focaccia(?)-bread too!
The ice cream was also amazing, especially yogurt and amarena, pistachio partly a little bitter.
The owner was very friendly and welcomed our dog.
There are also spreads, pestos, jams, etc. to buy on display.

We found this place while sitting at the miserable breakfast in our hotel. This place looked great, once we ordered the food came so fast! The coffee and Avocado toast was really good! And it's so unbelievabl how budget friendly this place is!

I piatti sono miseri e cari e non cucinati neanche egregiamente. Un antipasto con 4 verdurine fritte (troppo fritte) con salsa ''stonnata'' che sapeva solo di senape. Per secondo un filetto di simil-merluzzo (quelli della findus hanno più sapore) con 4 (e dico 4!) pezzetti di platano fritto e un po' di riso in bianco...

This place is so good for vegan. You can eat there during the week but on sunday you can only have cakes and drink. They offers patisseries, ice cream, sandwiches and drinks. They had a very delicious cake with whipped cream, croissant, cinnamon rolls etc.

Breakfast: their whole grain croissants and the optional filling (hazelnut, pistachio, jam or chocolate) are really tasty.
Read moreLunch: zucchini flan and tortelli with ragu sauce were good, really liked their arancione with ragu sauce and their gnocchi alla norma. On the sweet side, I liked their daily tart (pan di spagna, crema and monella) and their tiramisu was good.
Ice-cream: I recommend the hazelnut and the “monella” flavours!

I am not really sure where to start with Essenza, because this place has got it all!
Read moreWhen it comes to food, Essenza offers everything: breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks, ice cream, coffees and a big selection of packaged goods (cheeses, meats, pestos, sauces, etc.).
Their selection of sweet treats is unmatched in the region. We especially recommend their croissants that can be customized with the filling of your choice (pistachio, hazelnut, chocolate, cream, Monella - their own “Nutella”, etc.), as well as their delicious apricot or berries tarts and their various cakes.
With regard to their savory dishes, we particularly enjoyed their “AranciOne allo zafferano con ragù vegetale”, the “Tortelli maremmani al ragù vegetale” and the “Gnocchi alla "norma"”.
Last but not least: the ice cream! Finally a place where you can get quality vegan ice-cream and not just the usual sorbets and dark chocolate. They currently have six flavors (Fiordilatte, Nocciola, Pistacchio, Ciocolato e Cannela, Torta al Limone, Monella). We tasted the Nocciola and the Pistacchio, which were both amazing, but the one that stole the show was clearly the Monella ice cream! It’s incredibly rich and tastes just so so good, especially with their ice cream cone.
This review wouldn’t be complete without mentioning the location and the friendly staff. The interior is very big and nicely decorated. It’s very calm and a small oasis of peacefulness in the middle of quite busy surroundings. They also have an outside terrace with a few tables. The service is very courteous and accommodating.
