Qué buen restaurante - Edit
Es una opción increíble vegana y vegetariana. La carta no es muy grande (ayuda a no marearse para elegir) y tiene dos tipos de platos: columna izquierda las entradas o platitos para compartir, y columna derecha los primeros platos. Todo delicioso. Los dos postres un lujo. Pero lo mejor, por lejos, es la calidad del servicio por su personal. Un trato estupendo.

Read moreI went with my vegetarian boyfriend and the Fried Pastry with Cheese was his favorite dish. We also ordered “Beijing style” Mushrooms (vegan) and the Grilled Broccoli, Asparagus and Spring Onion (vegan). Overall, these options tasted very “basic” and lacked some flavor. I had high expectations, maybe we chose the wrong dishes, but I wasn’t that impressed with this restaurante.
At the end, the wine and deserts saved the date and we had a good time!

Nice service and the dishes look great on paper but somehow the flavors don’t really come together. The KFC cauliflower was too salty, the Peking mushrooms lacked flavor. All in all overpriced for what it offers.

The ceviche? Extremely exotic and worth it

Es la segunda vez que vengo a este sitio. La primera acaban de abrir. La comida está deliciosa y la mitad de la carta o más es vegana. El servicio está muy bueno también. Tienen platos de estilo oriental y normalmente sugieren pedir varias cosas para compartir.

Everything tasted good but the Korean fried cauliflower stands out. Also, it was the first restaurant I‘ve been to that offered vegan Tteok.

Good flavor combinations. I had the cauliflower KFC and the vegan cerviche. The cauliflower was a bit spicy but not overpowering the flavor. Personally, it could have been even more spicier. The cerviche was bright and light! Perfect for lunch. The portions were well enough for one person. I could not finish my plate. I recommend and will visit again!

We got 3 items for for 2 people and it was all super tasty. We got the KFC- Korean fried cauliflower- which I would eat weekly if I lived here, a mushroom pancake wrap and a banana, vegetable stew- unusual but really good. The staff were lovely and we sat in a shaded outside terrace. Lovely.

Had the famous KFC cauliflower and the mushroom plate and both were a bit too salty. I also didn’t get the mushroom plate concept much. The tofu was too hard/crunchy.

Nos pedimos las alitas al estilo KFC🔥, el snitchzel de berenjena, unos rollitos que te montas en el momento con setas, verduras y una salsa y unas empanadas (vegetarianas). A pesar de que el local es vegetariano, la mayoría de opciones son veganas, incluídos los postres. Me pedí un arroz con leche de coco que estaba muy rico.
Los precios en general me parecieron acertados. Fuimos sin reserva pero a las 20h, luego se empezó a llenar y mandaban a la gente al “outro espécie”, que es de los mismos dueños y está cerca.
Sin duda el que más me gustó de la ciudad!

We enjoyed a wonderful dinner here and loved trying a number of different options. The waiter was very nice in helping us with selections and we loved pretty much everything we tried. Highly recommend.

We were staying in an Airbnb just across the street from Espécie so ended up visiting them a couple of times during our week long stay in Porto. It's a great little place offering tasty vegan and vegetarian food. Everything is made for sharing and they suggest ordering three or four dishes between two people. Everything we had was really good, though I'd particularly recommend the Korean fried cauliflower and the sweet potato curry. A meal for two including a bottle of wine will set you back around €50, which is great value given the quality of food on offer. Highly recommended.

Great food, really nice staff. Had sweet potato soup, fried banana and rice pudding, very delicious. Wine was great as well. The atmosphere dining in the „garden“ is wonderful.
