limited but good vegan options - Edit
vegan options not marked, but staff were familiar with which items were vegan
Read morenot a ton of vegan options, but I really liked what I got: dolmades & dolmades wrap (seitan, dolmades, and fava)
Pros: food was good, portions are large , staff knew which items were vegan
Cons: vegan options not marked on menu, not very many vegan items to choose from

Solid option for vegan food downtown - Edit
We recently returned from a trip to Greece and were feeling nostalgic for Greek food. I admit I’ve slept on this place since it opened, but it actually has good vegan options.
Read moreWe had the fava, dolmades, gigante beans and vegan gyro. I ate a lot of fava in Greece; every place had a slightly different take on it. The fava at Ela is nice but could have a bit more flavor. The gyro is made with seitan and was very good. They also have falafel.
Overall, I liked the food and will definitely eat here again. Unsurprisingly it doesn’t quite live up to the food we had in Greece, but it scratches the itch!
Now, if they started selling those oregano potato chips here I’d die of happiness…
