Unexpected Find - Edit
Oberammergau is a small village, so I wasn't expecting to find anything when I checked my Happy Cow app. I was pleasantly surprised to find El Puente. The menu has a specific vegan/vegetarian section with several options for mains. The rest of the menu is also well described so options are easy to find. I had the vegan plate and it was delicious and the portion was huge. Drinks were also really good. The only thing I can fault here is that I thought the prices were rather high. Just the main was nearly 20 euro and then you start adding apps and drinks and it gets pricey pretty quick. But for probably the only option in town, it was well worth it. And with the portion sizes I think you could easily split a main between 2 people.

Wir kamen aus der Nähe von Köln nach Oberammergau und hatten nicht damit gerechnet, dass in einigen Restaurants vegane Optionen verfügbar sind und sogar auf der Karte stehen. Es gibt auf der Karte separat ausgewiesen 1x vegane Nachos als Gericht mit Gemüse, Reis und Sauce, diverse Salate, hausgemachte Salsasauce und auf Nachfragen einiges mehr. Sehr freundliche Mitarbeiter und originelle, gemütliche mexikanisch gestaltete Einrichtung.
