I liked the restaurant looks really cute.. we ordered the tortilla and wrap, food was good, but They heated up the food in the microwave so it was not hot, the potatoes tasted like from the day before.

A great find, thanks to Happy Cow, a lovely small establishment with a great menu and nice staff. Which filled up soon after we arrived. Whilst English is spoken by the host, its as would be expected not their first language. There is no issue as the full menu is available online here: https://www.elmedveg.com . It's well worth taking a detour to try out this place. Would definitely visit again.

This place is amazing. I stayed in El Medano for a week, ate here every evening and can say that everything on the menu is imaginative, carefully made and absolutely delicious!
Read moreThere's an English menu on their website page with a QR code link on each table. The descriptions are helpful and the photos are an honest picture of what you will get. Don't be fooled by it's unpretentious look, the food is some of the best I have tasted and the service is perfect. There's a friendly vibe with diners chatting to each other, at least between 6-8 pm (I wasn't there later in the evening).
The place is so good it is a reason to return to El Medano!

Cons: It is closed on Thursdays (not a complaint)

We first visited El Med Veg in January 2023 and really enjoyed it but our visit in January 2025 was even better. The menu felt like it had a really good selection of dishes even though it's relatively small. I had the aubergine lasagne which was delicious and very filling. My husband enjoyed the pad thai which came with plenty of tofu. We shared a banana and cashew cheesecake to finish which was really light and tasty. The server was friendly and overall we had a good experience. Would definitely recommend if you're in the area.

My daughter ordered the lentil burger but it was cold and not cooked or heated up properly. The potato wedges were freezing.
The smoothies are nice!
We had to take the burrito as take-away but again it was absolutely freezing cold. Only 3 potato wedges in the box and again they were stone cold.
Disappointed ☹️ We didn’t complain because of being in a hurry.
Would’ve left a better review if we had hot food. We still ate everything because we were so hungry!
Flavours are nice…just not hot enough unfortunately.

Lovely varied menu & good value for money. We had salad with feta & a spinach frittata to share. Tasty! OC orange chocolate dessert is home made & DELICIOUS!!! Make sure you eat the chocolate coated orange slice - beautiful! Will definitely visit again

They had 2 different raw vegan plates (salad & raw pasta), a yummy "cheesfake" dessert and delicious home made lemonades. They seem to offer different raw options everytime you go there. The staff is super friendly and it is a really chill atmosphere. Loooved it!
