Gave me nonvegan food, several different times - Edit
I was a regular at this restaurant, ordering weekly until one too many bad experiences with being served nonvegan food and poor customer service.
Read moreToday I was made to wait 45 minutes for 1 takeout vegan quesadilla. I was the first customer to order when I walked in, yet the 4 people who ordered after me all got served first. After waiting 30 minutes for the people who ordered after me to be served, the cook then mistakenly made my order with meat and had to remake it. When I stood up to ask about my order another 10 minutes later, one of the cooks walked over and sat down at my table to eat the beef quesadilla he mistakenly made for me, forcing me to move and continue waiting at another table when there was no shortage of empty tables. When I finally got home with my order, I opened it to find that it was made with dairy cheese and the cashier forgot my chips.
In my experience, the cooks who know what "vegan" means don't work there anymore. Unless the cashier specifically instructs them to make the vegan order vegan, they'll probably mess it up.

Was nervous after reading the review below me, but my non-vegan boyfriend tasted my burrito and was confident that it was vegan. They have such an awesome extensive vegan menu and are open late. Unheard of!!!!!

Served me meat - Edit
I've eaten here twice while on holiday in San Francisco. The first time was amazing, and as other reviewers have noted there is an extensive vegan menu. However, last night I ordered vegan tacos for myself and a friend, and the third friend in our group ordered a regular taco. Initially they brought out two identical looking dishes, covered in dairy cheese. I questioned this and they said the server had mistakenly taken the order as a veggie taco. This was then replaced with another taco, but this time filled with beef, which resulted in me accidentally eating meat for the first time in about 35 years. I complained and they seemed to suggest that the two tacos my vegan friend had been served were to share (despite the meat-eating friend also having been served two tacos and his order simply being the 'regular' version of our vegan order). A very confusing experience overall that literally left a nasty taste in my mouth. Unfortunately I won't be returning.

Delicious Burritos and Tacos - Edit
Amazing for us bargain vegans! You can get an incredibly delicious and healthy burrito for only $12. Whole wheat tortilla, beans, rice and avocado. If you like vegan meat, sour cream and cheese you can get that! Check this place out!! People with various issues may walk in, this is our Folsom community, don't hate!! Friendly staff!

A decent taqueria, but notable for having vegan versions of EVERYTHING. Beyond Meat, vegan cheese, vegan sour cream. That's pretty rare at a taqueria, even in SF!

Unexpected surprise! - Edit
I was searching today for vegan options in the SF Civic Center area when this popped up. How amazing that they offer vegan options with vegan sour cream and cheese! I ordered a Super Beyond Burrito. Was it the best burrito I've ever had? Probably not. But it was good for sure. I will definitely be back to try all their vegan offerings and will report back!
