Nice to eat here in Chinatown - Edit
Great restaurant with very nice staff. Everything is vegan, they don’t use egg and dishes with dairy are marked. I would recommend the vegan ‘honey’ lime glazed chicken, it was amazing. Nice find in Chinatown! Prices are good, but obviously much more expensive than at the hawkers, we were full for 20 SGD per person

Best meal in Singapore - Edit
Friendly staff, great food (westernized Cantonese cuisine). Reasonably priced and easy to find, the decor is a bit rough around the edges but nothing to complain about. Enjoyed everything we ate, would come back again

Good food - Edit
Lots of options, clearly labeled, but a little pricey for the portions. I got a fantastic taro dessert that might’ve been the favorite of my entire trip, highly recommend it

Delicious meal and vegan friendly - Edit
We managed a walk in on Chinese nye even though they were fully booked which was very nice of them! The staff were friendly but maybe a tad pushy, they didn't give us a chance to look at the menu before having to order so we just went with what the waiter suggested. We loved the pepper monkey mushroom and surprisingly the marmite ribs. The noodles were better than they looked but still not 100% sure on the flavour. Only reason I have knocked it down one is because I can't be 100% sure if everything was vegan or just vegetarian, we asked the waiter and he just said "most" were vegan and then didn't say anything on the ones we ordered. He said they didn't use egg noodles for the two that were on the menu. Other than that it was all very good!

Vegan-Friendly Chinese Restaurant - Edit
Allium-free Chinese vegetarian restaurant, very vegan-friendly with clear labels in the menu. Tasty food, not too oily, and nicely presented. Great for gatherings; would probably suit most people's tastebuds. They are currently serving some CNY specials, such as 'Honey' Lime Veg Chicken and Golden Sweet Veg Ham Roll (featuring sour plum sauce instead of real honey). P.S. Run by Zenna, who also runs WellSmoocht! Located next to Buddha Tooth Relic Temple, 10 min walk from Chinatown MRT Exit A.

Delicious vegan food - Edit
We were very delighted to discover this restaurant. It can be a bit confusing when looking at the menu as it had pork and ham listed which made me a bit concerned. The lovely lady that works there explained that it’s all vegetarian and most are vegan with clear labels if it contains dairy, eggs, honey etc.
Read moreShe is vegan so completely understands and assured me there was no meat there. The pork and ham ref are soy ‘meat’.
We had the peanut satay, the black pepper monkey head mushroom - which is a sweet and sour treat with veggies and was one of the best dishes I have had. We also had the fried rice.
The food was absolutely delicious and very affordable with super friendly staff.
Pros: Lots of vegan options
Cons: No cons

Good vegetarian Chinese Food - Edit
The food was good and cheap (in comparison to other restaurants in Singapore), don‘t know if the meals are vegan, couldn‘t see a sign that said vegan.

Exceeds expectations - Edit
"Eight treasures" vegetarian restaurant is located in the tourist heart of Singapore, right behind the main temple. Because of the location I expected mediocre food at high prices. Yet, the menu looked attractive and an "excellent reviews on Happy Cow" sticker made me decide to try it anyway. Since the restaurant has 2 floors, they even have seating during busy hours.
Read moreThe menu is all vegetarian and items with a green star could be made vegan. On browsing the entire menu, it turned out that only 3 could be made vegan. Yet, when speaking with the waiter it turned out almost everything could be vegan! So I ordered mabo tofu (one of my all time favorites) and fish-free shark fin soup (because it's so weird).
The mabo tofu very much differs from what I am used to eat in restaurants in Japan. This doesn't mean it was bad, just different from my standard. The shark fin soup was interesting because it had a flavor I never tasted before. According to the owner of the restaurant this vegan version matches the look and texture of animal based shark fin soup, but not the salty fishy taste.
In the end, the food was much better than expected at a lower price than expected in a tourist area.
Pros: reasonable prices, lots of space, lots of variety on the menu
Cons: pushy waiter (tried to sell more than I could eat)

So tasty, lots of options, heart of China town - Edit
This place I actually found through time outs top rated in Singapore and boy did it live up to the hype. So surprised by the selection. They clearly understood what vegan means and helped guide us through the menu (which we could have most of)

The Best Chinese Food Ever - Edit
Maybe Chinese food isn't your favourite? Probably because you've never had options before! This place will turn your world upside down. We spent around £20 each and got an absolute feast. After repeat visits, I would recommend:
Read moreHoney and Lime Veg "Chicken" (the best dish, imo)
Marmite Veg "Pork Ribs" (cocktail sticks to replace the bones)
Veg Satay (for peanut lovers)
Vegetarian "Chicken" Fried Rice
Black Pepper Udon Noodles
If you're in Singapore, get yourself over to China Town and pay this restaurant a visit. It's right next to the Buddah Tooth Temple, which is also worth a visit.
Pros: The whole menu is vegetarian, Delicious food and great staff, Good portions for a reasonable price

6 Feb 22: @eighttreasuresvegetarian is open during CNY period. All the dishes you see in my post, they are so good! In my humble opinion, they are legit so good. We finished everything. If I were to choose my top fav, it gotta be Honey Sauce Veg chicken (My sister & I ate so much of it 😂). Love their taro delight dessert too (Always order that when dining there)!

Pricey, slow service, small portions but tasty food - Edit
All dishes are tasty, with wok-hei in some dishes. The “mala” fish taste good but was a disappointment because there is absolutely no mala taste at all, in fact, it should be called sweet sour fish. Service is slow due to the lack of staff and food is slow to arrive. Portions are small which makes the meal pricey as we need to order more food to fill the tummy of the friends.servces Chinese tea and can pay by grab pay. No lift, so elderly have to climb staircases.

Good food, rude service - Edit
Right away we were taken aback by the rude service: the lady who welcomed us basically pointed at a table and through menus at us, pushing drinks on us. Settlement while we were looking at the menu she stood next to us the clicking her pain and let us know that she was using patients although we had only been there for 2 minutes. It was very rude. Personally, I had the honey lime vegetarian chicken with rice and I was really happy with it and my partner had some kind of soup which was mushy...
