Great coffee and cakes. But limited savoury food and limited indoor seating.

Very friendly, all vegan food. Lots of cakes and drinks to choose from and items to buy in the shop. But not much to choose from for lunch and only seating for 8 indoors. Bit cold in winter for outdoor eating unless come prepared!

Pros: Cakes - lots of choice , Drinks - lots of choice , All vegan and delicious

Cons: Not much lunch food, Hardly any indoor seating

A little bit of Paris in Clifton

This stylish shop/cafe feel like you’ve been transported to a beautiful street in Paris with its shabby chic interior and pretty outdoor seating area. On offer is excellent coffee and a selection of mouthwatering pastries along with a handful of savoury treats. No snobbery here, just smiles and fantastic quality.

Pros: It’s all plant-based, Human and dog friendly, The cinnamon rolls are EPIC

Adorable

Such a lovely little café with great food options. My only complaint is the seating situation can get a little awkward but it was really nice to visit here regardless!

Always a winner

The range of sweet and savoury flavours here is extensive.

All the staff members are engaging and kind in their ways.

A nice range of vegan lattes.

They have a nice terrace too.

Loved the cafe with the shop inside and all the cakes are so so good, and so are the drinks and food. Definitely go here if you have the chance!

Really lovely place

Amazing little vegan cafe and shop. Alongside cakes, coffee and brunch they sell a range of vegan gifts and nicknacks like bags and socks. I loved the decor and the cake and coffee were both excellent. They even gave us some complimentary brownie tasters with the coffee!

Pastry are the best!

I haven't had a cinnamon roll for nearly a decade because it is normally non-vegan but I came to this place and I chose this straight away!

All the cakes are plant-based and look delicious. I had iced coffee along with it.

Pros: All cakes and bakery are vegan. , Lots of options for hot and cold drinks.

Cons: Wheelchair access would be tricky., Difficult to find car parking.

The Best Vegan Cakes

This cute cafe offers the best vegan cakes in Bristol! Everyday they have new cakes, pastries and savoury options on offer which are all amazing! They also have a unique drinks menu with seasonal drinks such as Biscoff hot chocolate to strawberry matcha. I have ordered a few of their celebration cakes now and they are the best vegan cakes I’ve ever had. My non vegan family also loved them! The only issue I’ve had with this cafe is the prices and sizes of their cakes. They are so expensive and they give you tiny slices! Also there’s little to no indoor seating.
EDIT: They now have a new menu which offers sandwiches, salads and blueberry waffles. I tried the blueberry waffles and they were amazing!

Ideal lunch venue

We had lunch sitting outside in the sunshine. Butternut squash and feta toastie was delicious. Also had the blueberry breakfast muffin. If you are looking for a good lunch look no further.

Pros: All vegan

Hit and miss and overpriced too

I hate docking vegan places, but I had the same or better quality elsewhere in Bristol, and at a cheaper price, so I was a bit disappointed here. The breakfast sandwich at €9 was bland -- full of tofu but not much else. Luckily, it was served with a flavourful side salad and some Sriracha sauce. The quiche (quite good) was just a tiny slice for the same price. The almond croissant was the best thing we ordered -- flakey and delicious. The lemon raspberry cake again was a tiny slither for the price and although it tasted good, it wasn't worth the almost £4 price tag.

Dreamy vegan cafe

Serving lots of various sandwiches and pastries along with different coffees and teas. I tried the scone with jam and vegan cream - just wish there were more toppings

Nice location

We stopped off here for a little lunch time snack. The shop itself is lovely, but no seats inside, there is seating outside but if it rains you might get wet. Not sure if it’s due to covid but I definitely feel they could fit a few tables inside!

The savoury food choice was limited the day we popped in at around lunch time. But there was plenty of cakes and pastries.

We had the sausage and egg bun (toasted) which was very tasty. Then carrot cake and pain au chocolate, which again was yummy!

The place is set in a nice pedestrianised street with lots of lovely independent shops and eateries. Definitely worth a visit for a nice cake and coffee/tea.

Pros: Lovely location , Lots of cakes and pastries , All Vegan

Cons: Limited savoury options, No inside seating

The best little vegan cafe

I just love the East Village Cafe, you get such a warm welcome there. Everything is vegan and they make all of their cakes and pastries in house. They offer a vast array of drinks but you need to get there early to see their fab food offerings for the day. During the summer they sell the most amazing ice cream sundaes. Well worth a visit.

Pros: All vegan produce, Vast array of drinks

Lots of vegan choices, fantastic cakes!

Me and my partner were so happy to find this after a long walk in the heat. Had a vegan brownie, crossant cake and iced soya mocha was delicious and gave us a booast

Lots of chocolates, rose/lavender and other cakes and sandwiches to choose from and lovely staff.

Pros: Friendly staff, Lots of cake! , Lots of chocolate!

Cons: Can be busy due to popularity.

Good food but don’t forget your mask!

We visited on a Saturday morning and it was pretty busy. Not sure if you’re able to book a table but they currently have no inside seating (not sure if they usually do).
When we went there were no hot meals available but there were a few different sandwiches including one you could have toasted and a frittata you could have with salad. There were also numerous sweet pastries and cakes.
They have a number of drinks available so I had a smoothie and opted for the breakfast brioche roll. The total for the drink and sandwich was £10.15 which is a little steep in my eyes given the size of the sandwich but it’s a lovely little place and the sandwich and smoothie were tasty so I was okay to pay that much.
The inside is limited to 5 customers at a time so be ready to queue if there are a few people waiting for food and drinks. You also need to wear a mask to go inside.
They have a lot of different things for sale from snacks to eco-friendly goods to ceramics to vegan bags and jewellery which is really cool. The prices of these are very reasonable.

Amazing cakes and lattes!

The meals are good, but the bakes and drinks are what really stand out in my opinion! Their superfood lattes are something I haven't seen often in other cafes (the pink pitaya is my favourite), and they always have really unique bakes, like smores cookies. The almond croissants they've started selling are unbelievable, 10/10 the best pastry I've ever tried, vegan or not! Slightly on the pricier side for a café, but the portions are generous so not bad value for money.
