The best donuts ever. I’ve brought many non-vegan friends here as well and they all love them too. They’re pricey yes but worth every penny in my opinion. The only downside is that there is no restroom.

Pick up some flavored coffee before you head to Champs or grab a donut after Champs if you didn’t fill your belly enough…or if you did still grab a donut and save for later 😂 there’s nothing better than an entirely vegan donut shop & this place is top notch! This is exactly the way I want my donuts to taste!

Nothing to remark on the flavor and quality of the donuts, nice selection, but despite how good they tasted not the best I've had so far Yay for vegan donuts !

If you are in this area I would highly recommend going a bit further on the L train to Morgan Ave and check out Friends NYC a very nice shop ! https://friendsnyc.com/ with Sey coffee right around the corner ;)
(Ps: we ate our donuts at Domino park a lovely location if you can hang on to these treats for so long ^^)

I am so happy this place is literally right next to the L station I use and so close to my apartment, so I can get these whenever I want. You can’t eat inside and you have to wear a mask. There are two two-person tables outside. I got a maple french toast yeast donut, and the smell of it was overwhelmingly maple-y (in the best way possible). It was so amazing and fluffy and the icing was delicious. All the other flavors looked so good. I want to try the pistachio or blueberry next. They also have ice cream/shakes and coffee. This was such an amazing treat. edit - i went back and tried the pistachio and it was moreish! they all look so good

Boston cream is the best - Edit
I love Dunwell. The chocolate flavors are my favorite, especially the Boston cream. The fruit flavors tend to taste a little bit artificial. I do wish the doughnuts were a little bit less oily and the frosting a little less sweet, but can’t really complain and always keep coming back. The lemonade is very good, too.

I had a good pistachio donut here, and my wife had a religious experience with her Boston cream. She wanted me to say that the filling was perfect in texture and flavor, the chocolate glaze was so chocolatey and balanced the filling, and the doughnut was soft and pillowy. Definitely recommended!

the doughnuts are to die for oh my.... i bought an additional bag of 6 after eating 4 in the store because i couldn’t bear the thought of parting with them 😭 i also had a matcha latte, best i’ve had anywhere. i love the vegan artwork, posters, etc they had on their walls
