Tied for best Margherita pizza I've ever had. But the even bigger star is that Caccio e Pepe pasta. Wow wow wow, unreal. It's an absolute must. Doube Zero just never disappoints. This place is the best, and I just can't sing its praises enough.

We ordered way too much in an effort to try many things - great leftovers for days! Excellent Pizza crust, creative combinations and the baked meatballs were A refreshing change from the classic faux meats. The staff was incredibly friendly and gave excellent wine recommendations.

It's a good thing my hotel for my NYC trip is only a 10 minute walk from this place because I plan to come here at least a few times during my week here- no joke. It is SO GOOD. I got the tuffle pizza and was really pleased with the generous amount of mushrooms on it, and the crust is absolutely perfect. It comes out so hot from the wood-fired oven that you have to wait a few minutes for it to cool😄and it is fun that you can see the oven from the seating area. Prices are in the low 20's for a personal pizza which is 6 slices and enough food to last me quite a while- I could only eat two slices while I was there, leaving two meals worth of leftovers. They boxed the remaining slices up in a to-go box for me. Music is not too loud, which actually bears mentioning since it seems like nowadays it is trendy to blast music. The menu has so many tasty looking things on it I will definitely be back.

It’s been a minute since my visit but it’s recall a nice atmosphere, great service and tasty food. It was pretty hot inside (winter, heat) and we were seated at a community like table but with friendly folks who gave their vegan dining advice for the area!

I've walked past this place so many times before finally deciding to make a reservation for Valentine's Day. I loved so many things about it. I had the spicy Arabiatta pizza, cacio e pepe, and baked meatballs. The pizza crust and tomato sauce base were exactly like I remember my local NY pizza place from childhood. The cacio e pepe was SO GOOD and I couldn't stop eating it. I may have moaned a little LOL. The meatballs, desire being made of beans and quinoa, had all of the flavors of my grandma's meatballs. I can't wait to go back.

All vegan and sustainable bar menu too. We ordered the artichoke pizza and eggplant parmigiana. Delicious and perfect amount for 2 ( but no room for dessert). Friendly, helpful service and a full house when we were there on a Friday night. Best to book in advance!

Read moreThis place reminded me why I used to love pizza. Absolutely delicious! I ordered Garden pizza, just look how many mushrooms they gave me! All vegetables are fresh and well done. Very tasty dough, not heavy. I love it.

This pizzerias has been on my radar for a while. Excellent vegan pizza. Authentic Italian with a creative touch. The ingredients are clearly fresh. I ordered their Basil Sunflower Pesto. definitely want to try more of their pizzas. Furthermore, the cheesecake was tangy and just the proper amount of sweet.

Perfect Late Night Bday Dinner - Edit
After getting a late start for my roommate’s birthday dinner, we couldn’t find anything open that late on a Monday night. Thankfully, Double Zero was open and we were able to enjoy the delicious food. We got the Cacio e Pepe with GF pasta and the sunflower pesto and potato pizzas with GF crust.

Abbiamo preso una margherita a portar via… 20 dollari….. cornicione alto e “panoso”, pizza molto fina. Il sapore non era male, ma la quantità di mozzarella sopra la pizza era poca. Qualche cerchietto di mozzarella qua e la. Quando siamo andati a ritirare la pizza siamo entrati nel locale, è molto bello, ma non penso ci torneremo.

Plant based Pizza - Edit
This restaurant offers plant based Italian food and has been recommended by several food critics. We had the squash blossom and the pepperoni pizza followed by a cheesecake and a chocolate cake. The pizza dough was great with an outstandingly thin and crispy bottom! The tomato sauce was unusual but tasty with a more sweet note and the cashew mozzarella was good as well. The desserts were fair but not as good as the pizzas.
