I don’t eat a lot of teriyaki, but my parter is half-Japanese + grew up on the stuff + we both absolutely loved their version of it. Perfect sauce to rice ratio. We got it w/the “spicy” sauce, which is delicious + not too sweet, but I wouldn’t call it spicy. The side salad is only $2.50 when added to a main + it’s perfectly fine for what it is. The veggie (potato) croquette is decadent + as good as it looks. We’ll be back to try the poke bowl soon.
Read moreUPDATE: We split the poke bowl w/yuzu sauce + it was just shrug. Maybe we picked the wrong sauce. My partner asked if there’s mushrooms in the gyoza + they said they don’t know bc it’s frozen + they threw away the box it came in. Mmmkay. Keeping it at 4 stars bc the teriyaki is that good.
