Different decor and a DJ. Good atmosphere for having drinks. Went for cocktails, one was very refreshing and the other, the taste of India, had actual chillis in it and wasn't very drinkable, must be a very acquired taste!

Came for a light snack and a drink. I had the lychee ice tea, it tasted amazing! I also had the soya pepper, which was a recommendation and it will not disappoint. The soya chunck had absorbed lots of season and were a little cripsy.
Read moreThe service was excellent, Sofia was very attentive and fast, she was very willing to help. The bar tender, sorry no name, but they were great too, came and checked everything was okay and really put in the effort!

Cocktails were so lovely, the decor was fun and bartender was a gem and recommended tapas for us. Had the tofu, soya and sweet potato and it was all gorgeous, really flavoursome and nicely spicy (especially loved the soya)! Only downside was that the music was super loud.

Stumbled upon this place after eating in Herb next door. Great atmosphere, superb cocktails (I went for the Aztec sour: Tequila, Lime, Agave, Blackcurrant Liqueur, Red Wine), friendly staff and some saxophone music from Drew. Plus some complimentary bhajis.

Wonderful value for money (they had 2 for 1 on beers and cocktails when we went)
The food menu is very limited but great value for money with good portion sizes. Me and my husband shared the 5 dishes for £20 from the tapas menu and every dish was so flavourful 😋
They also had live lounge music which was wonderful to listen to! 🎺🎶

This is perfect for a shopping lunch stop, pre-theatre (the Curve is not too far away) drinks and light food, or drinks before heading next door for a vegan meal at Herb.
We will definitely go again.

Cons: There is a gun-shaped lamp. This doesn’t fit with, Vegan values. Otherwise, magnificent.

There's been so much hype about this place but we left feeling quite disappointed. It is more of a bar than an eatery; they served a burger or 4/5 tapas options only. We both ordered the burger and one of the soy tapas dishes. The burger wasn't warm enough sadly but the tapas dish was nice.

I recently visited and was extremely disappointed with my experience. The service was slow and inattentive, and the food was overcooked and bland. I ordered the chicken, which was dry and tough, and the vegetables were overcooked and flavorless. The overall atmosphere of the restaurant was uninviting and dirty. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone and will not be returning.

Beautiful vegan restaurant and bar - Edit
This is an entirely vegan restaurant in the centre of Leicester. It has a fantastic interior, mixing elements of steam punk and American diner into ornate South Asian style with incredible success. Fortunately the food on the short menu - 7 tapas dishes, a burger, fries and various snacks - lived up to the setting. The tapas are much more Indian than Spanish, beautifully presented and perfectly spiced. Cocktails are great too, and prices are razor sharp (5 tapas dishes for under £20). Brilliant as both a restaurant and a bar.
