We had the doen doen original. The planted kebab was very well seasoned and the baked vegetables really rounded off the flavour. I just loved everything.

But all in all: this was the best food i had in berlin!! Still thinking about it.

Sehr guter veganer Döner mit Li.ke meat alternative und Ofengemüse. Es gibt sogar veganen Ayran und Baklava. Nur zu empfehlen! Sitzen kann man drinnen und draußen. Das Personal ist sehr zuvorkommend und nett!😄

The döner Kebap was nice, but I wouldn’t say that it’s the best I had. The fries were really good and came with three sauces. M size is enough for two to share alongside the dóner. I’m still feeling full a few hours later.

Personal ist super. Döner schmeckt auch sehr gut. Die Baklava kann ich auch nur empfehlen. Der Ayran überzeugt mich persönlich nicht. Leider nur Kartenzahlung möglich. Daher ein Stern Abzug.

The highlight of our trip! We went back twice. The staff were so friendly. This is a must go to if you’re in Berlin! Having a Döner is a quintessential German experience which is offered here for vegans along with a lovely bottle of Spezi 🤤.

- Der Rotkohl war viel zu Sauer, meine Freundin hat ihn sogar aussortiert, hat für mich leider gar nicht ins Gesamtbild gepasst
- zu salzig für meinen Geschmack
- die scharfe Sauce ist geschmacklich nicht meins und nicht scharf genug
- ich fand den Fleischersatz zwar lecker, konsistenzmäßig ließe sich da allerdings vermutlich noch einiges machen wenn man schon die Möglichkeit eines Drehspießes im großen Maßstab hat, so dachte ich beim Essen eher "hm ja bekomme ich genauso oder besser auch Zuhause hin"
- die Location.. sicherlich Geschmackssache, für mich einfach extrem ungemütlich, da sitze ich lieber in jedem anderen x beliebigen Dönerladen. Laut, lieblos, steril, sieht mehr aus wie ne amerikanische fastfood Küche als ein Döner laden.
- Wasser 0,33l -> 3,50€, come on planted
Ich hatte mich gefreut, war aber am Ende doch ziemlich enttäuscht. Vamos Veganos schmeckt in jeder Hinsicht besser, Vöner ist auch nicht komplett meins, bevorzuge ich aber 10 mal von der Location und auch vom Geschmack. Selbst gemacht schlägt doen doen auf jeden Fall.

Doen Doen is a great little place offering 100% vegan kebabs. We both tried their original kebab, which comes with very tasty 'meat' made from pea protein.
Read moreIt was massive and came fully loaded with salad, veggies & sauces. Pretty hard to eat without getting really messy but who cares - just grab loads of napkins & tuck in! We also shared some fries, which were really good.
All in all, it was a very nice meal! Prices were very reasonable too. We left happy & replete. Definitely recommended!

Cons: Quite small so you may have to wait for a table

Yesterday I've been here the for second time. The last time I tried the original doen doen which was really good. This time I tried the doen doen Teller which I liked eben better (and was way easier to eat). I especially loved the creamy "Kräuter-Sauce" (herb sauce) and the thin fries.

When I got there it was the peak of dinnertime. There was a line out the door and all the tables were taken and many people were waiting for food. I knew it was going to be good.
Read moreWhen I got to the front of the line I ordered my food. I got the Original with fries and a drink from the cooler/fridge. It was about €18.
Serendipitously a table opened when I placed my order and I sat down right away. I wasn't sure where I was in the line for food coming out of the kitchen and I'm sure I looked anxious because the guy who took my order kept reassuring me my food was coming.
There were so many orders and people picking up online orders and other people getting things to go. It was packed. I waited a while (probably 20 minutes) and it was worth every second.
I got my food and my eyes were much larger than my stomach. The portions were out of control and humongous.
The Original would have been enough alone, but fries sounded so good. It was really messy, but they give you napkins and there are more available if what they give you isn't enough. I also needed a fork at the end because everything was falling apart.
It was delicious between the sauces, vegetables, the vegan "meat" and everything else in the hand held doner. It was amazing and had a slight kick to it.
I think he gave me a pound of fries and a generous amount of sauce including ketchup, vegan mayo, and whatever the third thing was. I enjoyed the ketchup the most. I never really liked mayo when I wasn't vegan, and I can't say that has changed with vegan mayo.
The restaurant and the people working there are incredible, nice, and hardworking. I highly recommend stopping by here for dinner (or ordering it to go).
They took credit cards and were able to box up my leftovers.
