Consistent - Edit
D'life has always been one of my go-tos with consistent, good vegetarian food. 4⭐ because since they started doing the whole "Order from QR", there's literally nobody working on the floor (if they are, they're behind the counter watching videos on their phone) and getting any assistance is like being bestowed with the highest honour.

Delicious generous portions - Edit
The dishes are always warming and generous. I always look forward to the steaming bowl/ plate, always delicious and always satisfying. The noodle dishes are the best as the noodles are fresh. Home style cooking at an excellent price, friendly atmosphere in the restaurant and sells some good vegan / veg products

Good range of Chinese tze char - Edit
Ordered the crispy Cantonese-style noodles & black pepper ‘mutton’ aka monkey head mushrooms 🥢 The former came with some sliced konnyaku rounds, shredded carrots & pieces of spinach. The gravy was savoury and had a subtle taste.

Food & Service Need Improvement - Edit
Food and service were not really good during my visit perhaps due to the dinner crowd. Did feedback to the staff and genuinely hope that they can make some improvement before my next visit.

I had Bak Kut Teh, around $5 and comes with a plate of rice, and the following week I had Sheng Mian (lit. Raw Noodles, its fried noodles with gravy) for $4.
Read moreD'life is a chain of restaurants under Zizai Vegetarian. Food is similar what you'd expect from Zizai - Reasonably priced and dat Wokhei~. This restaurant comes with a drinks bar where you can order bubble tea or coffee to go (most aren't vegan).

Pretty good - Edit
Absolutely thrilled that an outlet opened right outside my house after having patronised the Commonwealth outlet quite a few times. From first impressions, quality of dishes can be expected to be on par with the Commonwealth outlet. So far I've ordered the Assam Laksa and Hor Fun. Laksa had the same great taste and Hor Fun was generous with the noodles with the distinct flavor of wok hei. Need to work on the presentation of the Laksa however, perhaps being slightly more generous with the garnishes might help.

Cons: Presentation a little lacking, Only accepted cash when I was there
