Go to place in Chinatown - Edit
Wide variety and all of them is very delcious! My family love to have meals here every time after cny shopping 😂 but on normal days even if we visit Chinatown, this is the only place where we will visit & eat our meals at 😋 the price has been increasing (my fav noodles was $5 and now it’s $7.60🥲) but it’s okay, still my go to place!

Cons: Service maybe abit slow, Seating doesn’t have many round tables (mostly sq), Aircon not cold 🥵

best laksa & lu rou fan - Edit
i’ve eaten here countless times, and my favourite main is by far the braised meat rice / lu rou fan. it’s only $7.60 for a big bowl that comes with lots of veg & mock fish!
Read more🍜 EDIT: the penang assam laksa is tied for best dish.
🥬 for sides, you have to try the stir-fried kang kong, marmite ribs and the cereal tofu.
🥟 must-try dim sum options include the custard and char siew buns, as well as the red bean pancake.

Delicious Chinese cuisine - Edit
After hearing rave reviews about their dim sum, I decided to take my family there for a birthday celebration. Our older folks wanted rice, so we ended up ordering mostly mains. I must say, their main dishes are just as good as their dim sum. Love how they prepare their food and use of ingredients to create well-seasoned and delectable dishes.
Read moreHere's what we ordered:
Yam Ring with Kung Po Hericium
Homemade Marmite Pork Ribs
Fragrant Claypot Tofu
Fried Abalone Mushroom
Sambal Four Heaven King
Siew Mai
Crystal Dumplings
Every dish was a hit, and we can't wait to go back and try more of their dim sum!

Accessible vegetarian food in CBD - Edit
Happy that D'life is expanding to CBD area! But feel that their menu can have some reviewing to incorporate more protein content (e.g tempeh, beans, tofu) in the tze char single options.

Fully Vegan Dimsum Menu - Edit
Update mid-Sep 2023:
Read moreWas informed by another customer that the dimsum menu is NOT fully vegan. The Walnut Bun, Crispy Char Siew Yam Puff, and Xiao Long Bao may contain dairy. I tried contacting the eatery again but different staff have been giving me different information. Hope the menu labelling and staff knowledge on allergens / dietary preferences can be improved.
***
Allium-free vegetarian Chinese eatery. The main menu booklet and specialty menus are not fully vegan; some dishes contain egg/dairy/honey. The labelling isn't super clear or consistent, so I would suggest confirming again with the staff when ordering. However, the dimsum menu is fully vegan, which is the highlight of this eatery! Previously only consisting of one page, they have now added a second page with 6 new items to the dimsum menu, e.g. Xiao Long Bao, Truffle Mushroom Buns, Crispy Char Siew Yam Puff, Walnut Bun, Fried Pumpkin Cake, etc. Having eaten all the dimsum, I must say I was highly impressed by the taste. The translucent skin for the steamed dimsum was thin and soft even after taking photos for a long time. Would recommend checking out the dimsum here (especially since the other well-known vegetarian dimsum places in Singapore are much less clear on their vegan options). Conveniently accessible via Chinatown MRT Exit E.

Pros: It was open late on a Sunday!, Prompt food delivery , Offers vegan and vegetarian food

My 4th visit.
Read moreTried their dimsum series, "chicken" rice, "chicken" porridge, mamak mee goreng, fruit salad, siew mai, hokkien mee, claypot rice etc.
Taste on the lighter side. Their mamak mee goreng is way too oily and doesn't taste mamak at all. Hokkien mee looks and taste sticky.
Dimsum series taste very similar. Kind of disappointed.
Fruit salad was good despite lack of plating.
Pros: Spacious seating area, Courteous staff

Give a try👍👍 - Edit
The food is nice. Consider it in the central area the price is reasonable. It's a subsidiary of ZiZai. Went on the 7th day of CNY, the serving of food is not too long abt 10mins.
