Cleanest Chinese food ever - Edit
A real happy accident that our hotel was on top of this veggie food outlet. It was my first meal in Asian a few weeks ago and it might just have been the best. If Uk Chinese food was like this I would include it in my diet every week.
Read moreBeautiful flavours without all the gluten, delicate, subtle and packed with seasonal veg. Whole grain rice too. Just wow.

Tasty versions of specialty foods - Edit
I ordered two dishes the Monkey Head Mushroom with XO Sauce XO猴头菇 with brown rice and the Claypot Bak Kut Tea. They were both really tasty and I had enough to take home for lunch the next day.
Read moreThe Claypot Bak Kut Tea had a rich and tasty broth and lots of different types mushrooms and tofu types. It was warming and was like an internal hug. The Monkey Head Mushroom with XO Sauce XO猴头菇 was served with fried curry leaves and was done in a style that was savoury, chewy and a little crunchy. Highly recommend both these dishes. They have some dishes on the Recommended Chef section that look really good like the various Yam Ring dishes.
I’m really looking forward to going back to try more dishes.
Pros: Tasty and harder to find veg specialties , Quick service , The menu has so much to choose from
Cons: The seating and payment can be confusing, Same with getting sharing bowks or chopsticks , Sometimes the seats assigned are a little🫤

Lots of great food at D'life - Edit
Claypot rice pin noodles (Mee Tai Mak) in black pepper sauce with lots of monkey head mushroom, very flavourful, must try, most recommend
Read more1. Thai curry fish rice
One whole claypot of curry fish, lots of ingredients, my non vegetarian colleague likes it very much too, most recommended
2. Chicken rice
Well roasted "chicken" rice, lots of green veggies and cucumber given, rice portion was generous, recommended
3. Asam laksa
The asam laksa was super good, thick and flavourful, most recommended
4. Hawaiian Tomato Pizza
The pizza was 25cm in diameter, like their pizza dough as it was thin and soft, won't end up eating flour. For the Hawaiian Tomato Pizza, the cheese is just as thick as the dough, the tomato sauce matches the cheese well as both are flavourful, topped with fresh cherry tomato, recommended
5. Herbal bak kut teh
They give lots of monkey head mushroom, it's bak kut teh plus herbal, the taste is unconventional but extraordinary, most recommended
6. Fish slice bee hoon soup
The fish slice vermicelli was light yet tasty, with lots of veggies and carrot, taste not bad, worth trying.
7. Tomato spaghetti
Their tomato spaghetti is one of my favourite, smell great and taste great, recommended.
8. Mixed mushroom pizza
Same with their tomato pizza, topped with mixed mushroom, yummy, recommended.
9. Ginger mee sua
It was awarded as one of Singapore's Top 50 Vegan dishes 2021, taste ok to me, not bad, worth trying.
10. Satay bee hoon
Not the best but quite good, generous portion, recommended.
11. Penang prawn noodles
Their prawn noodles here tasted more or less the same with their Zi Zai Vegetarian Bishan's prawn noodles, good, recommended.

Tasty Local Dishes - Edit
Allium-free Chinese vegetarian eatery, with comforting and tasty local dishes that aren't too oily. The menu doesn't have labels for egg and dairy. Several staff members assured me that the dishes at this branch are vegan without egg or dairy, except for some of the drinks and cakes. Nonetheless I think it would be best to verify again when ordering! Wish the vegan dimsum from the Chinatown branch could be available here too. Conveniently accessible via Novena MRT.
