Read moreI got the Steakteller with sweet potato fries ( 1 euro). It was delicious. I had hoped for more salad and less fries, but whatever. Don't expect the healthiest food ever, it's fast food but tasty.
They don't provide you with cutlery, so if you don't have your own, ask them before you leave.

I just stopped by to pick up some cake. They had 2 different cheesecakes for 2,8 per piece or a chocolate-rice pudding cake for 3,20. We got the chocolate one and it was yummy!

this burger was among the best i have ever had in my entire life! so so so good! it's a small place that's packed - and i totally understand why! service is great, atmosphere is lively & lovely and the meals are super tasty and rich in flavour! i loved how many sauce options there are and that you can choose whichever you want for your burger!

Zwar ist das Deli sehr klein und man findet nicht immer einen Sitzplatz, aber kurzes Warten lohnt sich allemal! Ich hatte einen meeega guten Burger. Alles hat frisch und selbstgemacht geschmeckt. Raffinierte Saucen und außergewöhnliche Zutaten, die extrem gut aufeinander abgestimmt sind. Der Kaffee war auch fein, genauso wie der Kuchen. Im Sommer ist es sicherlich auch nett draußen vor dem Deli zu sitzen. Preise waren für die Qualität auch sehr in Ordnung. Klare Empfehlung!!

We went there for dinner while staying in Leipzig - and went back a day later because it was so delicious. Had the tempeh burger which was super tasty, focaccia, fries and sweet potato fries which were also very good. Big selection of sauces to choose from for your burger and fries. And yummy cakes for dessert. Extremely fair prices/great value. Very small place so you may have to wait for a seat - or do take-out. Highly recommend!

Sehr kleines Bistro mit ca 12 Plätzen, aber mit einer tollen veganen Karte (Burger, Sandwiches, Bowl & Salat). Habe die Super Bowl gegessen und anschließend zum Kaffee eine Johannisbeer-Michreistorte. Sehr sehr lecker. Very small bistro with about 12 seats, but with a great vegan menu (burgers, sandwiches, bowl & salad). Have eaten the Super Bowl and then to the coffee a currant Michreistorte. Very delicious.

Das Essen ist ganz gut, der Laden ist sehr klein. Wir hatten einen kleinen Hund dabei, der leider im Laden nicht erwünscht war. Seltsam bei einem veganen Laden. Wir mussten daraufhin draußen sitzen, wo es leider keine Tische und Stühle gibt, sondern nur Kisten.

I had the Superbowl and was truly amazed by the combination of flavors, size and price! It was simply delicious and very satisfying. Next to the bowl, I had the homemade Grapefruit Rosemary lemonade which was delicious, too!

Best vegan fast food EVER - Edit
I’m happy to not live in Leipzig because I wouldn’t be able to resist Deli‘s magnetism and although their prices are pretty low I would spend all my money there. The Deli offers very very tasty vegan burgers and other typical fast food. Besides the burgers they offer a daily soup, one other home cooked meal and a variation of cakes. I don’t get other reviewers criticism for limited seating or the smell of hot oil (which I never experienced). It is a vegan fast food place, run by members of the Connewitz alternative scene and not a fancy restaurant! Come on! The Deli is a must when you’re in Leipzig!

If you are on a budget or just feel like a great meal for little money, Deli is the place to go in Leipzig. For just a couple Euros more than a Döner, you get a really nicely crafted meal with interesting flavour combinations. I highly recommend the Super Bowl, which is also really filling due to the brown rice.
