Convenient location if visiting Yonque National forest - Edit
We stayed in Rio Grande area and visited twice during our stay.
Read moreWe tried the empanada, burger, and peanut butter powerballs. The empanada came worth shipping sauce and was really tasty. The burger was good but would have been amazing with some sort of flavorful sauce added. The powwerballs are really yummy, jusr sweet enough to make a healthy dessert and a good value.

Refreshing! - Edit
Everything was so fresh and flavorful! We ate here twice after exploring El Yunque which is ~10 minutes away. Cute garden seating, great music, helpful staff, delicious eats. Had smoothie bowls, empanadas, lentil wrap (a little dry), veggie burger (super yum, and a sauce would bring it to perfection level), smoothies, and juices (Jalapeno Business was the best juice we have ever had anywhere!). Perfect stop to rejuvenate!

A delight to find a vegan spot near El Yunque - Edit
Enjoyed a meal here after touring El Yunque. ‘Was a delight to see vegan food being advertised by signage on the way to/from El Yunque. Enjoyed most of the savory food items on the menu. My favorite was the carrots, chips and hummus dish and the empanadas. My mom was partial to the lentil wrap. Friendly staff, colorful/cute vibe, affordable. They had a good local beer selection and a bunch of juices too. Would definitely recommend to anyone visiting the El Yunque area!

Refreshing Juice in Puerto Rico - Edit
Visited here after a great hike at El Yunque. This place is golden! The Vegana Empanada is extremely flavorful - you must try! I also ordered the “Island Time Juice ( carrot, cucumber, ginger, lemon and orange juice ). Can you say I was a happy girl?

Great post-hike spot! - Edit
Super cute little spot outside of El Yunque! It leans a bit more towards the “healthy” type of vegan food (think quinoa > impossible meat) if that’s not your thing, but the mango smoothie bowl was absolutely incredible after hiking. They also have a cat that hangs out there! All in all, the perfect spot to recharge.

Great smoothie - Edit
Great smoothies, awesome atmosphere. We went here for vegan empanadas which they didn't have that day. We decided on lentil wraps. They were good but need a lot more sauce or some hummus or something. Very salty and dry. Staff and atmosphere were great. Smoothie was lovely!
Read moreEdit- we tried this place again today - the smoothies were great but skip the actual food. We were really looking forward to trying the empanadas. They were out yet again. We tried the veggie burger and it wasn't very good. The bun is huge, dry, and overpowers the burger. Burger is very messy- falls apart very easily and doesn't have much flavor. As vegans we were really hoping the "all vegan" restaurants in Puerto Rico would be our favorites but we didn't really like either one of them.

We had a delicious vegan burger and a wrap with lentil patties. Both are made in house and were fresh. The place is 100% vegan. Their smoothies are wonderful with fresh ripe tropical fruits and they make nice cocktails with them as well. Worth a special teip

Delicious food, great staff! - Edit
I got the vegan lentil empanada and my daughter got a peanut butter and banana smoothie, both were delicious! In fact my daughter, certified pickiest eater who isn't a vegan, even admitted that the empanada was great and she wished she'd gotten her own. The staff were friendly, the outdoor seating had enough shade to stay cool in the warm weather, and the signs on the tip jars were funny (I'll let you read them yourself if you make it there!) Would definitely recommend.

Great stop after El Yunque - Edit
I would argue that this place isn't completely vegan as they have honey, but they're able to sub with agave.
Read moreWe stopped here for smoothies after a day in El Yunque. The place was clean and bright, easy to find, and plenty of parking. It's in a very cute neighborhood.
We shared an empanada and each got smoothies. I got the parchalicious with agave, and my mom got a tropical sunset with vodka (LOL). Our food was fresh and delicious and I'd definitely revisit for lunch or dinner.
Pros: Plenty of choices, Gluten free options
Cons: Uses honey in some of the smoothies but has agave

What a treat to find this little gem in the middle of meat heavy Puerto Rico. We only got a chance to try their delicious refreshing smoothies and energy balls but hope to get back to try their vegan food options. Perfect spot to relax and refresh after hiking in the rainforest. LOVE that they offer reusable glasses and metal straws for “dine in”.
