No longer a buffet, but still quality lunch - Edit
This used to be a buffet restaurant that was a highlight of the Porto vegan scene. Sadly they seem to have moved away from the buffet style and now have a standard menu, but everything was delicious. We split the hummus starter (served with just a small bit of popadom - not nearly enough for the amount of dip, we had to order extra focaccia!) and the green salad with mango, avocado, chickpeas, and crispy tofu. Healthy and satisfying lunch in a super convenient location. The service was a bit slow but the staff was friendly.
Read morePros: Good flavours, Fresh ingredients
Cons: Not enough accompaniment for the hummus, Sad it’s no longer a buffet

Delicious and a lil bit fancy - Edit
Fully vegan menu, calm atmosphere and great location. I had the mushroom katsu, on corn puree and with kale, which was deliciously crispy and tender and looked quite fancy.

Service amazing - all vegan now + very knowledgeable - Edit
This is the only daTerra that is no longer a buffet style. The waiter told us this once we sat down and explained the reasoning behind it. Talked us through the a la carte menu which was great. We a few dishes including a dip and fries bread, salad and pasta. We also had a pastel de nata, definitely not the best we have had, but decent in a pinch.

Really bad place - Edit
The place was one of the best in Portugal. They had vegan all-you-can-eat vegan buffet for a very cheap price. Everything was very tasty. Now in 2025 they offer a menu. I waited about 40 min for my plate, the starters were cold and the plate was very disappointing. It was a simple pasta with a few vegetables which they called yakisoba, not even close to a yakisoba. Very simple in taste. Strongly not recommended.

Can’t believe the below ratings - Edit
It’s not a buffet anymore but the food is excellent. Best vegan in Portugal so far. The service was also excellent. The price seems in line with a slightly upper scale casual dining restaurant in the peak tourist zone. A very pleasant surprise.

No longer a buffet restaurant - Edit
I went here as it was close to my accommodation and it had been recommended. After walking in the door I realise they weren't doing buffet style anymore. There was a menu, for the food. No drink menu yet as I think they are still working on the update after renovations. The staff were lovely and attentive but I was mostly unimpressed. It's not a great place for a solo person with limited budget.

Most of the buffet was not very flavourful, some, like the fried tofu, a bit dry. I liked the pumpkin ginger tarte, though.

Yummy Vegan Buffet For Cheap! - Edit
Porto doesn't have anywhere near the amount of plant-based/vegan restaurants/eateries that Lisbon does; however, daTerra came highly recommended and was a close less-than-10-minute walk from our apartment on the Ribeira, and their buffet offered us a good amount of choices all being 100% vegan. (And, too, the prices were cheap--can't complain about that!) Apparently, the buffet changes daily, so for our 3-night stay in Porto, we popped into daTerra twice (once for lunch; once for dinner). The staff on both occasions were simply terrific--a great group of people! For me, let's say two-thirds of the buffet was YUM; one-third was not to my liking. But, hey, that's a buffet for you: somethings are hits; something are misses--that's why you've got a large variety of food stuffs to choose from. Wines and beers were extra, but food and drinks are so cheap in Portugal that it didn't matter. The fancy desserts were extra, as well; but, again, who cares if it tastes great and is reasonably priced! In sum: daTerra's food rates a very solid 4-star rating from me, and I give it an extra star for the friendly service.

Arrived here a couple of hours before close. Has a nice selection of dishes, however some are very similar but still all nice. Great size glass of wine and good value.
