Can't go wrong with dinner or brunch! One of the best in LA! - Edit
Have gone here twice for dinner, and just recently, for Saturday brunch. Each time was amazing. Dinner faves include the Figs and Feta for a starter, Spicy Rigatoni Vodka and Spaghetti Carbonara for mains, and they have an extensive wine and cocktail list. Brunch was equally amazing, with the Chicken and Waffles and the Stuffed French Toast taking home the top prizes. Will absolutely return again to enjoy the rest of the menu!

Great experience - Edit
Stuffed zucchini blossoms were fantastic, the perfect creamy cheese flavor. Cheese plate was maybe too similar to the real thing. On special were chocolate banana crepes, which were delicious and a breakfast croissant sandwich, with potatoes, also very good. Pineapple Margarita, peach Bellini, and Bloody Mary hit the spot. The Bloody Mary had a cheese stuffed olive that was incredible. For dessert, the brownie sundae had too much ice cream and could have used more sauce and maybe some nuts. Also had a chocolaty mint dessert cocktail, which was perfect.

Amazing food. Very high end and expensive but it’s delicious. The banana pudding was bad though. But everything else we got was amazing especially the truffle pasta and the impossible chicken piccata. My goodness and the squash blossom was amazing too!!

This place is legit. Dishes were incredible! No wonder everyone says that this is LA's don't miss vegan restaurant. Expensive, but worth EVERY PENNY! Can't get over the truffle potatoes, "scallop" pasta, and blistered snap peas. AND THE CHEESE PLATE 😱!!

the vegan egg yolk?! like omg. they’re doing some crazy stuff here. the banana pudding actually did something to me. this is also where i had my only celebrity sighting of my entire LA trip so that was fun. the vibe in here is kind of scary but the food makes up for it. i don’t think i will ever return to LA but if i did it would be for crossroads

Fine Vegan LA Dining - Edit
First off, the fine dining experience of this place was great. I showed up in jeans and a metal band shirt and felt like a scrub but the server loved us. Food was excellent, loved the stuffed artichoke and the stuffed zucchini. Pizza was excellent but I felt it was on par with a cart at home. There’s more on the menu to try. Awesome food, loved the service, would do again.

An Experience! - Edit
This was the most fun I’ve had dining out in many years, maybe the most fun I’ve had since going vegan. Crossroads provides a “regular” fancy dining experience but entirely vegan, and that’s simply not something that you can find in very many places. They were absolutely packed, which made me so happy to see because I know that restaurant was not full of only vegans.😄I was so excited to dive into the dishes that I forgot to take photos!
Read moreWe shared all of our plates and got: artichoke oysters (unique, fun, very tasty), spicy rigatoni vodka (my favorite of the night, the sauce was to die for), masala with impossible chicken (also excellent), we opted for a side of mashed potatoes with the masala which were pricey for the amount at $8 but so dang good, I would order them again. Also got the Lion’s mane steak (a little terrifying with how perfectly meaty the texture was). For dessert we got the banana pudding which I could eat every day for the rest of my life. They also brought out a free sorbet as I was celebrating my birthday that night, which was a lovely surprise!
10/10 cannot wait to return and try more of this insanely good menu!

One of the best vegan restaurants ever - Edit
Wow, absolutely everything at crossroads is incredible. An amazing nice-dining place for a date or a nicer outing, Crossroads does not disappoint. I’ll be thinking about the homemade italian sausage and the spicy vodka rigatoni pasta for months.

This was my first time visiting Crossroads since I first went vegan 10 years ago. I got the BLT with a caesar salad and my partner got the milanese sandwich. The BLT was amazing with perfect crispy bacon. I love caesar salads and this was definitely a really good one! The milanese was very good as well but needed more vegenaise or other sauce. We also got the Brownie sundae which was delicious. I got a gin and tonic and my partner got a margarita which were both tasty.

Great brunch - Edit
I won’t lie, my stomach wasn’t feeling great after drinking the night before (LOL) but we had a reservation so we went anyway. I had heard great things about brunch here and it was as good as we had hoped. The khachapuri completely healed me. The cheese was delicious and the tomato egg yolk was impressive. My partner’s stuffed French toast was a great portion and also great flavour (but unfortunately not for my stomach haha). The pomegranate kombucha was also really nice, I should’ve asked where they got it. We shared a small banana pudding at the end too which really hit the spot. I would definitely come back on my next visit.

Fancy Dining without the Fancy Prices - Edit
I’m a pretty hard marker, and this place is not 100% perfect, but relative to comparable vegan dining options it’s pretty ace. The food is tasty, proportions generous (an understatement), it feels fancy with personalised service - yet the prices are on par with places such as Swingers Diner (which serves vegan options that are at best sub-par), or any of the junk food or ethnically inspired vegan eateries.

Elevated Vegan Dining with a Few Small Tweaks - Edit
Crossroads offers an impressive menu that showcases just how far vegan dining has come. With so many options, it’s hard to choose—but nearly everything delivered.
Read moreThe Wedge Salad was exceptional. The blue cheese dressing could have been more evenly distributed, but the balance of flavors was great, and the crispy bacon added a perfect crunch. The Calamari Fritti was my least favorite—it tasted like it had been breaded and left sitting for a bit, lacking the crispness I expected. Still, the flavors were enjoyable.
The Tagliatelle Bolognese was one of the best pastas I’ve had. The noodles were slightly thick and could have been a bit looser, but the dish was still outstanding. The Grilled Lion’s Mane Steak with truffle potatoes was another highlight—rich and flavorful. Interestingly, it tasted even better the next day as leftovers with a little less sauce.
To finish, the Brownie Sundae was delicious, with a strong coconut flavor that might not be for everyone but worked well.
Overall, small critiques aside, Crossroads delivers an elevated dining experience. I’ll definitely be back!
Pros: Diverse, high-quality menu, Standout pasta and steak, Delicious & Decadent dessert
Cons: Calamari lacked crunch, Uneven dressing on salad

For meat and seafood fans - Edit
I've been wanting to go to Crossroads for about 8 years, having seen it on the top of so many lists, not just for LA but nationally. Finally, we had a special occasion and a reason to make reservations. We were even able to find a parking space right on Melrose.
Read moreOur server told us that our party of four should order 11 to 12 small plates. We ordered seven and that was more than enough. The service borders on obsequious, which is not my style.
Most disappointing: the food! A lot of meat and seafood substitutes and very few vegetables. It may sound odd but I am a vegan who actually loves vegetables and doesn't like meat substitutes, even when cleverly executed from hearts of palm and tofu. The food seemed remarkably unhealthy, unlike my favorite restaurant, now closed, Real Food Daily.
The food was also way too salty, which I guess helps them sell drinks!
I have had many great vegan meals at Los Angeles restaurants. I very much appreciate the abundance of choices people have here. But I have had more enjoyable meals at, sad to say, Veggie Grill, where you can actually order fresh vegetables and the upselling is non-existent.
I know these are tough times for vegan restaurants in Los Angeles. I hope Crossroads continues to thrive. But I will not be back

The best vegan food ever - Edit
This is some of the best vegan food my g/f and I have ever had. We had such a wonderful dinner one evening that we came back the next night. My g/f loved the Cacio e Pepe. The lasagna and piccata were amazing. The staff were wonderful and very knowledgeable about the ingredients. I hope Crossroads opens another place closer to Orange County. This is definitely a place I could take my non-vegan friends and family. #Veganuary

Decent lunch - Edit
We sampled several items for lunch. The calamari fritti appetizer was tasty. The kale Cesar salad was absolutely delicious. The crossroads bowl was excessively salty and disappointing. We also got the mezze box with butter beans, mushrooms, carrots, and baba ganoush. The baba ganoush was incredible and everything else was good but nothing terribly special, and the whole box only came with one piece of pita. Maybe we just ordered the wrong things ? But I wasn’t overly impressed

Favorite Vegan Restaurant - Edit
This is my favorite vegan restaurant I have ever been to. The first time I went (on a date), I was completely blown away with how beautiful and delicious and elegant everything was. From the apps to the mains to the cocktails the food and drink are excellent. The ambience is dreamy and though the price will hurt you, I dare say it is all part of this amazing experience. So sad the Calabasas location closed.

Good food but overrated - Edit
I ordered a pasta dish which was good but could’ve done with some vegetables. The cheese plate had some great cheeses but came with bread that was soaked in oil. Service was super slow. After hearing great reviews of this restaurant for years, I was excited to visit but it didn’t live up to the hype.

Great food. Perfect for a special night out. - Edit
Really nice upscale vegan restaurant. It's a great place to take out of town guests, go to brunch, or have a romantic dinner. They also do great meals for holidays like New Years Eve. I've been here with people of a variety of dietary needs and tastes, and everyone I've taken has enjoyed it. Reservations encouraged, as it can get busy. The indoor area is beautiful. The outdoor area more casual and can get cold at night, but still nice.

Highly recommend the brunch menu!
Read moreWe ordered the chickun & waffles with crispy potatoes, pancakes with blueberry compote and the stuffed french toast with mascarpone cream. Without a doubt the pancakes are some of the best vegan pancakes I have tasted. They are super fluffy, light and delicious. The french toast with mascarpone cream are incredibly flavorful and memorable. The chickun & waffles are superb, and (imho) the star of the dish are the spectacular crispy, baked breakfast potatoes. #Veganuary
