This ice cream and dessert shop at Piazza Cavour is a real gem! What I love most is that their vegan options go beyond the usual fruit sorbets - they also offer rich, creamy flavors, all clearly marked on the menu. Their cones are vegan too.
Read moreApparently they also make vegan cakes. I spotted 3 in their fridge. While I didn't try them, they looked pretty good. As for the ice cream, I can't recommend the gianduia flavor enough. It's absolutely out of this world!

Amazing vegan options. I tried the vegan nutella and vegan pistachio gelato and they blew my mind. They also had a vegan pistachio gelato cake for €19!

When traveling to Italy, you defenitly have to have some gelato! With spits like this, its easy to have this experience as a vegan. Vegan Options are easy to recognize with an extra section in the menu (on the wall) and staff is really nice. We got welcomed with a smile and they had great recommendations for both me and my vegetarian friend. The vegan dark chocolate ice cream was very chocolately and creamy. I’ve had many gelatos, sometimes very disappointing ones. But this had exceeded the expectations. I had Amarena (cherry with chocolate shards) and Pistacchio. Both wonderful, creamy and great quality.

I got the chocolate and pistachio. It was amazingly creamy and full of flavours. It's a very popular gelateria in Bologna, so it can be a long wait. We were lucky to get there at a quieter time but you may have to queue for a bit. Totally worth it though!

The staff really knows what is vegan& what isn’t so thats really helpfull. The chocolate flavour is really rich, the pistache is also really nice. If you like cherry’s or the bubblegum taste then the amarena flavour is amazing for you haha.

I regret getting three flavour, I should’ve gone just for the Amareno one. It was amazing (not saying the other flavours wasn’t good, they were just very pale in comparison). The amareno one is like a stracciatella with pieces of dark chocolate, so yummy!

I asked about the cornettos and they said they're all vegan except for the one with chocolate.
The only con is the waiting time.. The queue was going a long way, but it was totally worth the time.
