No Longer Soley Vegan - Edit
This had been a fully vegan, fast food cafe. I had come here anywhere from twice a week to several times a month, even though I do not live in the same town. There were actually only several dishes that I ordered, but I still came to support one of the few fully vegan restaurants in the county. Now that they are not fully vegan, they have lost my biz. The prices are high and the frequent deep-fried oily smell, if you have to sit in the front half of this small cafe, can nauseate me.

Tasty Mexican Fare - Edit
On our way north from SF to Mendocino we took a slight detour west to visit this restaurant. I had a really delicious and really huge Cozy Crunch Burrito. It was well packed with tasty ingredients including soy meat. The chips wrapped inside gave it a nice crunch.

Read moreIt wasn’t obvious the first time I ate here but it is posted. The menu prices are cash-only, so they add a small percent when you pay with a card so they can recoup their fees.
Pros: All menu items are vegan!, Non-vegan friends loved the food.
Cons: The credit card surcharge. I seldom carry cash.

Pretty tasty for a pretty penny - Edit
Phenomenal vegan restaurant, this place *is* all-vegan, they used to be vegetarian. All the food looked delicious, learned that their vegan cheeses are made from soy and pea-protein. The mushroom burger was to die for, it was a juice-dripping dream. The veggie focaccia is the perfect light fare lunch.

My one ding on the stars here is that it is quite expensive and the portions are smaller than you’d expect. It’s also a semi-casual setting so you’re paying a lot (even for Sebastapol) for some amazing food that takes very little time to finish/eat.

Tasty, Not Worth the Price - Edit
Everything I ate had good flavor and nice textures. But the price was not worth it. Almost 20 dollars for just a single thin burger, no sides, no extra fixings nothing. If you are dying to eat at an all vegan place it’s worth it but outside that there are better places in town to go.

This place was fantastic! We got the layered nachos, the Mac and cheese, along with the philly cheese sandwich. The philly was smokey and the vegan steak was tender. The bun was perfectly toasted. The layered nachos had this beautiful layered appearance but I didn’t get a photo. It was TASTY! It was all great!

I love the fact that I can go to a restaurant and be able to have anything on their menu! No guessing required as to what the vegan dishes are. The portion sizes are more than ample. I ordered a burrito and was full after eating half of it, so good and fresh. This was my first time here and I’ll definitely be back! My son ordered one of their burgers and thoroughly enjoyed it, he’s not a vegan either. That’s impressive!

Avocado Quinoa Bowl - Edit
Cozy Plum serves healthy, balanced vegan food in large portions. It's so delicious and amazing. Today I got the avocado quinoa bowl and it was good, filling, and healthy, but it had so much rice and beans that those two ingredients totally dominated the flavor. It should probably be called Rice and Beans bowl. If this was my first time here I'd give it four stars, but since I have had several other delicious menu items I still think they deserve 5 stars.
Read moreI am in their rewards program, but I don't know how it works and every time I ask about it the host doesn't understand it either. Usually they tell me I have to mention it when I pay, but I always forget and then it's too late.
Unfortunately it seems I overwrote my review about the pesto tenderloin😒that one was delicious but impossibly messy.

If you want to order off the menu without cobbling together a dish from a bunch of sides, and if you want the very best vegan food in Sonoma County, then come here. Be prepared to spend $35 for lunch for one, but dang it’s good! It’s my once a quarter treat and I love it! Guaranteed you will too, vegan or not.

Well it’s going to be pricy but the value is all there. These are real chefs working in the cutting edge of what’s possible with plants. I had the tenderloin and my friend got the Ruben. I have been craving mac and cheese for the longest time so I'd thought I treat myself to Cozy Plum. For lunch, I ordered the mac and cheese and the Maple mushroom bowl. The maple mushroom was sweet with a creamy dressing, and had a kick to it topped with fresh jalapeños. The flavors complemented each other well. I did not expect big portions, for one! It was sooo filling, and the staff and owner were friendly. I will be back, next time with friends!
