Lovely people and delicious coffee - Edit
We were looking up coffee and didn’t realize this shop was vegan until we arrived. We had a tamago toast and some coffee and both were outstanding. The egg is made of tofu and kabocha squash and was very eggy with the addition of kala namak salt. The barista was extremely friendly as well! They also serve oat milk.

This is the first really good coffee I’ve had in Japan. They only use oat milk in their drinks. I also had a sweet cracker/cookie which was really good.

Nice, modern café - Edit
A nice modern café, focused on quality coffees and a few simple foods (pound cakes and toasts) - the banana bread was pretty good

Cute vibes and drinks - Edit
Coyote really only has coffees and a couple of other options. We went at 11am and they had sold out of the savoury toast (with vegan egg?). So we just had a couple drinks and a muffin. It's a nice stop near the JR station while you are waiting for your train.

Egg toast is a must! - Edit
I normally don’t like things to taste TOO much like the real thing (if you know what I mean) but this egg toast is spot on and just enough of the real taste to be delicious. It’s a must get if it’s available. The coffee was super good😄a little pricey but a nice spot to hang out for a bit!

Delicious! - Edit
Visited multiple times while staying in Kyoto! The staff were so welcoming. The coffee was great, and the food was delicious! There were only 3 options on the menu - scrambled tofu, banana bread, and a different flavour muffin each day - but all of them were so yummy. They even had take away cookies

The cafe is conveniently located right by kyoto station. The place itself was quite trendy and the staff are super friendly and kind (they can speak both Japanese and English). The food was delicious as was their matcha (made with oatmilk) :)

Best vegan coffee shop x breakfast experience I had in Kyoto - Edit
This shop is 100% plant based, and offers both sweets and a savory option for breakfast, which is really hard to find in Japan! They make a vegan “egg” toast which was delicious, have daily vegan muffins or sweet breads AND they carry cookies from a local vegan bakery company “Ovgo” which we had already been to in both Tokyo and Kyoto. Coffee and ambiance are great as well location is right next to Kyoto station. If we had more time, we would have gone back. 10/10.

One of the best espresso's I have had in Japan - Edit
The espresso has a wonderful bold taste, and is extracted perfectly! The banana bread was tasty, not too sweet. It's hard to find vegan spots like this so it made my day!

Very cute cafe near the station - Edit
This vegan cafe has very nice coffee options such as mocha, they use oatmilk for the coffees and have a bright space where you can chill or work as well. The staff is very nice and can help you out with questions, they speak English as well. They have some breakfast options like banana bread or a toast with vegan scrambled egg which was delicious! I just think the food options could have a bit more to it other than just the banana bread or just the toast.
