Go-To for Spicy Tteokbokki - Edit
I read reviews mentioning spicy is too spicy even for people who can handle spice well. Well, maybe it would be too spicy if eaten hot. I got it to-go and it had cooled down a bit so it wasn’t too spicy for me. Also, it’s well priced and the quantity is pretty decent.

Loads of vegan options! - Edit
Tteokboki was really good, although maybe a little pricey if you want to add veg into it. But the menu screen has a whole section for vegan options making it super simple

Authentic Korean Comfort Food - Edit
Location was about 2 mins walk from Enhwa University.
Read moreFood pricing is very affordable. The spiciness of Tteok-bokki is just nice for me. Yellow Raddish are delicious and crunchy. I am more amazed with the fried oyster mushroom where the outer are really crisp and thin. Menu is in English makes it very easy to order.

Good but spicy - Edit
I'm lowering to 3.5 stars just because I ordered the jajjang tteokbokki (no spicy) and they were spicier than the regular spicy tteokbokki D:

very yummy - Edit
It was our first time having tteokbokki and we loved the dish. As I am not doing well with spices I chose the non-spicy version which had still a little spice in it so it was perfect for me. My boyfriend who does well with spice and always eats and loves spicy ramen chose the little spicy version and it was actually too spicy for him.
Read moreWe arrived pretty late, shortly after 10 pm since they should be open until 11 pm. When we arrived we saw they put up a paper sign saying they now close at 10.30 pm and last order is 9.40 pm. We still asked if we could get something and the employee was so nice and said takeaway is totally fine.
The prices were on the pricey side though. Would still recommend 🎀
Pros: friendly staff, good amount of food
Cons: too much spice

Delicious! - Edit
I was so happy to find a tteobokki place that serves vegans! Seeing cow imagery outside of vegan spaces always concerns me, but here it's "c.o.w." for "community of wellness". I couldn't read the description of this, but it seems vegan-friendly! The food was delicious and I might have to go back before my trip ends.

A great, truly delicious vegan menu which saved the day our first evening in Korea when we couldn’t find anything open near(ish) Hongdae. The rose tteokbokki was amazing

I was pleasantly surprised by the vegan options on their menu. You can get tteokbokki of different varieties, and they even have 1-person set menus (that are quite filling)! I would 100% recommend this place if you’re in the area 😄

I wasn’t expecting the rose tteokbokki to be sold out - Edit
The rose tteokbokki was sold out (arrived 6:55pm) so I panicked and I got the fries and rice balls (don’t judge my rice balls I was eating alone and nervous that I would embarrass myself so I made them really fast hahah) the rice balls were really yummy! Bit expensive tho so probably wouldn’t order again 15,500 for the balls and fries.
Read moreThe fries were sooo sweet it’s really not my style or what I was expecting. I will update if I come back and finally get the rose tteokbokki
Came back and got the rose tteokbokki and I took peoples advice and did no spice because apparently even the “little spicy” is too much for people who enjoy spice and while I enjoy spicy food I followed the suggestion and I am here to tell you no spicy really is no spicy hahha so while I regret my choice a bit it was still nice! Just more of a pasta vibe then a tteokbokki (I paid extra and selected just rice cakes no wheat because I am gluten intolerant) also it tastes strongly of like sweet potato or maybe pumpkin? Definitely gnocchi vibes

there is a separate vegan menu here with a few different kinds of 떡볶이. it’s one of my favorite foods so i was excited to try here, but it wasn’t that amazing. edit: i went back a second time and it was great!
Read morethe fried pumpkin and other sides were also good. they go perfectly with the sauce. the rice ball was really filled with mayo and i was scared it wasn’t a vegan one 😂 it was yummy tho. they also have these vegan cheese mayo fries that my friend liked but they were too sweet for me.
i want to try all the things on the menu

Big portions, serious about spice - Edit
I got the rose tteokbokki, and the flavor was very good. Like others have mentioned, I wish I had gotten the "no spice" option. I chose the little spice option, and it was actually too spicy for me. My husband chose the regular spice option for his, and even it was too spicy for him (reference: he can handle spice pretty well). So beware of this.😄The portions were huge, and we asked for take-out container, and they provided one with no issues. You order on a touchscreen, and English is one of the options.

Amazing food! Favorite place to get tteokbokki in Seoul so far. The rose tteokbokki is my favorite. You can pick your level of spice, I went for a little spicy and it was definitely spicy, but perfect for me! Plus, the times I went here, it was never very busy.

WOW! - Edit
Seriously delicious with lots of clearly marked options. Easy self order screen with English. You can choose the spice level. I got “little spicy” and it was definitely spicy. I like spice, and that was perfect for me. If you’re not into spice I would definitely choose “no spice”. Will absolutely be going again before heading home.

I had the tteokbokki with ramen and added mushrooms. You get a super big portion that I couldn’t finish. It was definitely spicy, so pick your spice level with that in mind. Definitely a good deal. Also the vegan options were very clearly labeled.

They have an entirely separate vegan menu, with the ordering terminal having options for English, Chinese and Japanese as well. The simplest ddeokboki is 5000 won, and most of the other options are sufficient for 2 people. I've been there many times by now, and will be going back again. The rice ball is really good too.

Vegan Tteokbokki. What else is there? - Edit
Nice little place with clearly marked vegan options. There are a few options to customize your tteokkbokki. Like add extra ramen, for example. The tteokbokki had an interesting szechuan flavor to it.

Guys gals and non-binary pals, this was absolutely DIVINE. The oyster mushrooms were delicious, the perfect level of greasey-friedness. The tteokbokki? Perfect. The serving was massive, and the spice hits so good. Highly highly recommend eating here if venturing to Seoul.
Pros: Actually so delicious, Number of vegan options , Has aprons for messy eaters

5 Stars for the vegan dishes!!! - Edit
It’s so good, I didn’t believe that it’s vegan! Sometimes Koreans think vegetarian is vegan but no! Not this time. We asked and the owner explained how he makes the vegan dishes out of soymilk. He also told us it took time to get the dished certified vegan and that he will go abroad with the „Rose tteokbokki“ to get a price (? Not sure if I understood this right, please correct me if I’m wrong).
Read moreYou can order at a terminal in English and it shows the vegan options. You can choose how spicy, how sweet and how many noodles or ricecakes you want.
I ordered the rose tteokbokki because of the reviews here and it was amazing!! Like… stunning! It tasted SO GOOD. I’m addicted now. And I forgot to take pictures! But since I’ll be going there now every week, there will come some soon 😊
Pros: Certified vegan, Tasty!!!, Many options to chose
Cons: Also meat dishes, Small place
