Great experience! - Edit
Good place right in the main area of the dells. They have multiple options clearly labeled on the menu and all of the staff was very knowledgeable about the vegan options on the menu and explained everything. Since I had been dealing with not as great vegan options since visiting a more rural part of Wisconsin, I got both the avocado toast and the veggie hash and both were great!

Super Friendly Staff - Edit
After my family ate at another restaurant that ended up having nothing vegan for me to eat, I found the Courtyard Cafe next to Wizard Quest and decided to stop in and ask if they had a vegan option. To my surprise, they had a few options! I had the veggie hash which came with a choice of different types of toast, plus a salad (which was SO good). I was especially impressed with the staff member I spoke with. I don't remember her name, but she was also dairy-free and was happy to not only guide me to menu options, but tell me about some of her other fave places to eat in the Dells! The only suggestion I have would be to add a vegan sandwich option. Maybe a simple BLT-style sandwich with either tempeh bacon or marinated and crisped tofu? Or even just a buffalo chicken sandwich using Morningstar Farms patties! I'll be back next time I'm in the Dells!

Great food and staff. - Edit
This cafe had some great vegan options and were really conscious about our son's egg allergy. The waitress even-handed out a toy when she saw that our boys were having a hard time waiting for their food. We will definitely come back again next time we are in town.

Great breakfast spot! - Edit
Courtyard cafe just opened in April 2024 and located in downtown Wisconsin Dells in the Bavarian courtyard near Wizard Quest. The owner is very sweet and is dairy-free and gluten-free herself so is very accommodating to making the menu vegan-friendly and gluten-friendly. There are clearly labeled vegan options and the staff was very kind in verifying which bread was vegan and replacing my toast when it came out buttered. They were only able to verify the whole wheat bread as vegan since they could not find an ingredient list for the other breads. I enjoyed the roasted veggie hash but my husband’s avocado toast with pico on it was amazing! I also absolutely loved their coffee! Also, they offer straws as default so make sure to ask for no straw
