Small but AMAZING place with plenty of choices, salty and sweet! The hummus is amazing and their pumpkin bread too! We got a falafel plate and quinoa salad and a super delicious blueberry cheesecake. Friendly and helpful staff. Cannot wait to go back!

Vegan blueberry cheesecake!!! - Edit
This little cafe was right down the sidewalk from the hotel I stayed at during a yoga retreat. I was so happy to find delicious, sweet, vegan food! I stopped by more than once and brought other yogi friends with me. I tried the avocado toast, banana shake, carrot muffin, apple pie, and chocolate cake. My favorite though was the blueberry cheesecake that I would make a return trip to Rishikesh just to eat again.

Great cakes and tea - Edit
We had some delicious masala Chai and hibiscus tea as well as a great roasted avocado bread and really good cakes and cookies for takeout. It was such a cozy atmosphere, and everything tasted great. A real treat if you like us are in India for a longer time and miss the ease and pleasure of enjoying good quality cakes and biscuits. The fresh cakes and avocado toast are way better than the cookies, though.

We also tried their green smoothie and banana smoothie both good too.
Lots of snacks of offer, we had the chocolate chip cookies and the peanut butter brownie which was amazing!
They offer food too but we didn’t end up getting any sit down meals.

Opt for the blueberry cheesecake! - Edit
This café is super small (no outside seating, no WiFi, no toilet) but has a nice selection of vegan cakes and coffee. We tried a gluten free coconut cake that unfortunately just tasted like sugar.
Read moreHowever the cookie lady also sells her cookies and cakes in other places in town so I got the chance to try some gluten free buckwheat cookies as well as a blueberry cheesecake that was just divine!

Best brownies! - Edit
What a treat to have an all vegan cafe in Rishikesh! The brownies were absolutely delicious! And they had a great variety of other options as well - chocolate cake, cookies and more! Also, they offer some savory dishes as well as tea/ coffee etc which we didn’t realize before going there. Would definitely go back to try more!

Pink Oasis - Edit
Love everything about this cafe! It is a beautiful pink vegan oasis where you’d least expect it! We were doing a yoga course where the food was not so great, Cookie Lady saved us and we were there nearly every day! Tried the entire menu - savoury, cakes, drinks - and it was ALL amazingly delicious. Best pizza, falafels and carrot cake ever tasted. All the staff are fabulous too. Can’t rate this place highly enough, needs a 10 star

Definitely worth a visit - Edit
This is a lovely little place, hidden off the main path between Laxman Jhula and Ram Jhula. Quiet little area away from the busy road. The staff are immediately welcoming and the service is fantastic. Afternoon tea with a great selection of vegan treats. One of a kind in Rishiskesh. Only negative was the brownie and lemon cake were a little dry but the seed “cheese” with flaxseed crackers was delicious and it’s ALL homemade.

Heaven!! - Edit
I went for high tea here, and it was absolutely delightful! Each of the cakes was perfect and the staff were all lovely too, and there was even a cow hanging around to keep me company! Also, probably the best vegan brownie I've ever had! It was 350 rupees but that included 7 different kinds of cake (including the most delicious scones and cream!) and 2 different sandwiches!! Thanks a bunch, people of cookie lady!

GREAT HIGH TEA! - Edit
The place is near the police station. Its a lovely garden with only 4 tables. I had the cookie lady special high tea and was surprised on how much they serve in the tiers: two delicious sandwiches plus one traditional cucumber sandwich in a bagel! scones with vegan butter and jam, mini cakes and tea with soya milk. I could not eat all and the waiter suggested me to take the rest away with me for later. I did of course. Very nice people, nice food and unique place. Good prices also.
