Read moreThey had no more doughnuts the day that I went by, had run out in a matter of hours apparently, and during the first wave of the pandemic I was a bit disappointed because I walked all the way across Edinburgh for sweets, but I understood and asked for ice cream instead.
OH MY the vegan Ice cream was AMAZING! Super creamy and flavourful.
Would definitely recommend going there just for the ice cream although I think it is a bit overpriced.
Pros: good food, great service

Considerit doughnuts are fantastic. There is a wide selection which changes on a regular basis - jammy dodger and biscoff are regular faves! During lockdown they offered home delivery boxes which were reasonably priced. Will definitely be returning to try the ice cream doughnuts. I do believe there is room for improvement as the doughnuts are often unfilled with the flavour just on top. The shop also sells chocolate and coffee/hot choc to go.

This cures any annoyance I have for Krispy Kreme not doing a vegan doughnut. So many amazing flavours and much more ethical. They do sell out so arrive early for max choice!

Fantastic service and options - Edit
Considerit Chocolate have been one of my favourite traders since they started doing market stalls. They have a good section of chocolate bars, lots of doughnut flavours, and I love their ice cream. During this Covid-19 time, they've began offering doughnut delivery and I was delighted they were doing a delivery day in Glasgow. I'm happy to keep supporting a plantbased business at this time, and it's cheered me up whilst I'm stuck at home.

I adored the doughnuts I bought from Considerit. It had been a very hot summers day and I had walked very far to pick them up, and they were SO worth it. There were different flavours to choose from and it was very hard to decide as they all looked and sounded amazing. I will definitely be back, and have been recommending to everyone!

Considerit produces a mouth-watering selection of doughnuts and chocolates. The boxes of truffles are full of fantastic flavours (although only seem to be available sporadically), and we can thoroughly recommend the vegan cream eggs if you're after an Easter treat. And of course the doughnuts are the heart of place. They always seem to have a new selection of flavours, from the traditional (cinnamon sugar) to the unusual (like smores). They also do some lovely hot chocolates for warming you in the winter, and ice creams for the summer.

On my first visit I had a decaf oatmilk latte, a special bacon butty with red-onion chutney and took away macarons, a pumpkin crumble donut (stuffed with pumpkin-pie filling) and ‘smores donut (gooey marshmallows but sadly no melted chocolate). Since then, I have tried the salted caramel latte (oat milk, decaf), a delicious chocolate bar (the centre filling is white chocolate, orange and coconut and a really good cinnamon bun. ALL VEGAN. There are some tables and benches/stools in the side room.

Basic very clean small cafe attached to shop. Amazing vegan breakfast 'doughnut' with plant based 'bacon' or 'sausage' only £2.95! The doughnuts are amazing flavours as is the variety of chocolates!! Across from Summerhall campus building.

Delighted to find this café which is much more than just a bakery! The buns we bought were delicious and fresh and the range of options was fab. Prices were totally reasonable and the staff were very friendly and chatted with us about Edinburgh, the Fringe, and offered their own recommendations for vegan restaurants in town!

When I visit any city one of the first things I check is if there's vegan donuts. Few things excite me more if there's an all vegan bakery that offers donuts. So of course I had to check these out. They did not disappoint. Great selection of flavours and very tasty. I took mine to the nearby park and ate there which was quite nice.
