The doughnuts are delicious. We also had the one with the plant-based sausages 🤌 ne carefull the opening hours are not the same now check them on instagram.

Delicious and good value donuts - great variety of flavours! - Edit
Considerit has the most wonderful donuts and is fully vegan, which removes any kind of worry of cross contamination. There seems to be a rotation in blackouts and toppings stocked, which means that every time you go, you can taste a new and funky flavour profile. Price wise, I think it is gold value for money, as I would say it is cheaper and much better quality than high street chain cafes. 10/10 recommend popping in and trying either sweet or savoury donuts!

Nice place with Edinburgh tax - Edit
I forgot how expensive Edinburgh is, £2.70 for a small latte (similar to a short at Starbucks) is too expensive. The doughnut was tasty, a bit greasy, but easily big enough to feed a family! Nice find in Newington.

After a jaunt up Arthur's Seat, i happened upon this place, and glad i did. I'd happily go again the next time i'm in Edinburgh. Worth a visit to recharge, and chill, wait for a seat if you must.

Every donut from considerit is incredible, as is their rich hot chocolate and homemade chocolate bars. Seasonal specials like creme eggs are exceptional. A must visit in Edinburgh for anyone with a sweet tooth!

Extremely poor experience - Edit
I don't like to give bad reviews but last time I visited I left sick due to a custard doughnut.. I gave it two stars because I've never had this experience before although I'm not a regular.
Read moreThe service was also very poor. There were three of us and two girls at the till (ratio 3:2) and we were the only customers when we ordered. They forgot one coffee. Then when I let them know about the problem with my doughnut they were not bothered at all and just asked me if I wanted something else instead. No apologies at all. I asked them if I could have a cinnamon doughnut, they game me a cinnamon roll instead. No point complaining further.
Not sure if I'd go back.

We had a selection box of 6 delicious donuts. All were beautifully decorated and well packaged. The box was labelled “the best six pack you’ve ever had”, which I have to say, if I lived near to considerit, would be very true!

Ideally situated for a quick breakfast or brunch stop this is a well put together, elegant and entirely vegan bakery. I’d been recommended the filled donuts by donut muncher who lives here. Great hot chocolate too.

Amazing vegan doughnuts - Edit
All their classic doughnuts are amazing, they also make special ones for special occasions such as Halloween. They now sell ice cream, ice cream filled doughnuts, milkshakes, iced coffee and hot chocolate as well. You have to be early since they may run out of doughnuts depending on how busy the day has been!
