Had higher expectations. Unfortunately only sweet treaties. As it is categorised as bakery, thought they would also sell savoury donuts/bagels (like Brammibal Donuts in Berlin) or any hearty pastries. Wanted to have breakfast. The honeycomb donut was good, but nothing wonderful. My hubby bought the cinnamon one and it was also good, plus a cappuccino. I bought a coconut milkshake, it was delicious, but too little for the price. I see room to improve here.

I go there for vegan doughnuts and coffee, and the occasional ice cream. It's so nice to be able to eat everything and not have to worry about asking what's in everything. The staff are always super lovely too!!

I really, really loved the strawberry cheesecake flavor — I’m a sucker for slightly savory sweets, and this hit the spot.
Read moreHowever, the lotus donut showed the limits of the dough. It wasn’t very flavorful, and was bit on the stiffer side. I’m personally more a fan of light and airy donuts.
Still a worthwhile experience if you love sweets and find yourself in Edinburgh!

What joy a vegan chocolate shop with cafe. The joy was short lived though. You’d think a place that makes its own chocolate would be able to make a hot chocolate using chocolate! Unfortunately here they use syrup!

The seat cushions were filthy as was the toilet light switch and door handle.
Really disappointing.

The best vegan doughnuts!! - Edit
Everything is completely vegan and their doughnut flavours change regularly and they come up with some really inventive flavour depending on the time of year but they always have cinnamon rolls, oreo doughnuts and biscoff doughnuts. No matter what you get it's always delicious and such a treat. The staff are also really friendly. Each doughnuts is typically £2.80 which is very fairly priced especially compared to other bakeries. I would recommend this to everyone wanting to satisfy a sweet tooth.

We got 2 doughnuts and the dough is lovely, one which was an apple crumble was really nice but the apple sauce in the middle wasn’t seasoned and then we had a white choc raspberry one which had basically no raspberry so it was overly sweet. Still good but just needed a few tweaks to be perfect.

I had the biscoff milkshake and a yum yum which was so tasty! I haven't had a yum yum in many years so it was nice to find a place that sells vegan ones. The milkshake was huge so definitely worth the money.
