Great rotating vegan options - Edit
I went twice during my trip to Victoria. Both times they were scooping maybe four or five vegan flavors (about half the flavors!), and they had several vegan cookie sandwich options too. I was super happy that their waffle cones are vegan😄
Read moreOn my first visit, I got a cone with a really nice pumpkin flavor. The second time I got a cookie sandwich: beer-flavored ice cream between two salted pretzel cookies. This wasn't as good — the ice cream was kind of chalky. Overall, though, high praise for this spot. (And major bonus points for being right next to the best vegan bakery in Victoria.)

A nice range of four vegan gelato was available by the scoop, along with two ice cream sandwich aka sammie options.
Read moreApparently the wafers used for most sammies had egg, and special cookies (plain jane choc chip or a double choc) were suitable for a vegan sammie.
Travel buddy had a scoop of a delicious cookies and cream with great chunks. I had a sour cherry ice cream sammie which was super.
We also had a lovely chat with the friendly person working the shop that day.

We only discovered this little ice-cream shop while waiting for our food order at the Fern Bakery next door, and decided to give it a try based on the long lineup, and the fact that they offered vegan options, which is quite rare.

Greatest ice-cream sandwiches ever - Edit
I arrived to this place a few minutes before the opening and people were already queuing outside - and for a good reason! i still cannot believe this place actually exists. It is just a paradise. Located a bit outside the city center so you have to know about it to be able to actually find it, but it is worth the walk (and the whole neighborhood is interesting, including the vegan cafe/bakery just next door).

This ice-creamery was a bit out of the way but once we got there it was very popular. Had a sign up saying their vegan flavours are made with coconut milk. Had more than one to choose from, and their flavour archive on website showed a lot of vegan options. There were also vegan ice-cream sandwiches, bars and ice-cream cakes - would have loved to try a cake! The place is also trying to be waste-free. Our ice-cream sandwiches had shortbread and were very salty and rich but it was great to have a vegan treat. Price was ok too.
