The cutest little cafe at a temple - Edit
I wanted to try their matcha cake, but they sold out of that. Their chocolate cake was yummy. It was warm, so I opted for a cold matcha. I'd go here again and get away from the tourist crowds. I wouldn't have known this place existed if it weren't for my bike tour guide.

Tofu matcha cake and soy milk - Edit
They offer seasonal cold (coffee) drinks and other coffee variations. Make sure to change the milk to soy milk.

The Café is so beautiful ! It’s not completely vegan, but offers vegan milk and vegan tofu cake (matcha and chocolate), which is delicious ~

Great little coffee place close to the imperial palace.
Read moreHave indoor and outdoor seating. Very cosy. Some benches, some pillows on the edge of the house, a room with floor seating.
Offer soy milk and almond milk, costs extra though. Also have some tofu cakes and little vegan cookie bags.
Also: don’t miss out on the spring around the corner where you can refresh and fill up your water bottle.
Beware of mosquitoes.
