Didn’t realise this was the same owners as Le petit monstre-so they had most of the same pastries . Unfortunately there was a power outage on the day I visited so didn’t get to try the breakfast menu as planned. The sausage cheese croissant was great (but could have got that at Le petit monstre)

French person approved - Edit
As a French person I mourned good croissants when I went vegan but then came Clementine Bakery and they completely blew my mind. I’ve even taken my very skeptical French parents, who are not vegan, to Clementine and they were also impressed. From their coffees to their Kale Salad, BLAT sandwich to their pastries, everything is amazing. Also shout out to the staff- they are what makes this place truly shine and they deserve the world 💕

I found myself wanting to come visit Clementine Bakery a lot. I am a sucker for vegan bakeries, and this one in particular reminded me a lot of my favourite local back in hometown Sydney, Australia. (Miss Sina if you ever are visiting!)
Read moreI visited twice, the first time picking up a box of sugar cookies and chocolate chip cookies. The cookies were a massive hit at a birthday party my partner and I brought them to. We didn’t tell anyone that they were vegan cookies until after they were enjoying them, it’s always a lovely surprise. We also bought a lemon cake which was also incredible delicious, which we slowly enjoyed over a course of several days. They cake stayed fresh in the fridge the whole
time.
My second visit, I was ready for one of the menu offerings, and I tried the crispy chick’n sandwich. It was heavenly. I will definitely have to try the others next time I visit NYC. My partner also had a red velvet cupcake which was as tasty as it looked.
Clementine, you make amazing food and it was a great experience, both times and all the times in-between!
Pros: lots of variety between treats and savoury items, reasonably priced, nice casual indoor and outdoor seating

Been enjoying Clementine Bakery for at least 5-6 years and I think their food menu and pastries (part of the Le Petit Monstre family) have just gotten better and better consistently over the years. Creative and excellently executed. The staff here are super kind! Also a great place to get delicious cupcakes and custom orders for parties, especially to accommodate our gluten free friends.

Exquisite vegan bakery in Brooklyn that offers a selection of vegan and/or gluten free pastries, breakfast sandwiches and great coffee. Staff were very lovely, especially the redhead from Dublin whom we had a lovely chat with. I’ve never had a better croissant or pain au chocolate – these were seriously on point! Also enjoyed the BLAT sandwich and a few day old scones and muffins for only $1.50. Love that they are conscious about waste as well. Will definitely return when I’m back in Brooklyn.

WE LOVE A FULLY VEGAN BAKERY. Can’t go wrong with this or their sister businesses to be completely honest. It’s great that they also have a fully dedicated gluten free case as well. They have a coffee bar and drink case with sparkling water, kombucha, etc as well.

The proportions were way off (not much avo, covered in pepitas, huge radish chunks, no spices/salt/pepper) but still ate it obviously. Acabei provando o croissant de pistache (foto) e ele tinha tamanho generoso e bastante recheio.
Recomendo muito a todos os veganos a visita à Clementine - certamente o dia começará muito bem.
