Hidden Gem with Incredible Food - Edit
Chickpea Eatery is a great little spot tucked away off the beaten track. It’s a casual place with simple décor, but the food really stands out — absolutely delicious! The mock meats were especially impressive. Staff were friendly and helpful. They even offer vegan cookery classes in English. Everything we tried was skilfully made & full of flavour. I liked their menu, which was also in English. I had the banh mi tempeh, which was like a snack size. Then, I wanted to try their vegan cheese with some crackers. It was okay, but I need to admit, I am not into vegan cheese, even though I have been vegan for years. I tried the tiramisu, but the dough, which usually is the base of it, was made out of something different. Therefore, it tasted quite healthy. Next time, I will choose something else.

Cute restaurant with decent options. My favorite was the pho. I did not care for the tempeh sandwich. If you’re in the immediate area, it is an option.

We really enjoyed our food here. I had a creamy garlic pesto spaghetti with tomatoes and my boyfriend had the vegan chicken and rice. Both very tasty. Amazing ethics - vegan for the animals!

I'm in love with this place. The intention is right (vegan for the animals, spreading the love), the restaurant is tastefully decorated, the place is very clean and - most importantly - the food is A-ma-zing!
Read moreThe pesto pasta relieved me from my need for some other food than Vietnamese. Don't get me wrong, I love the cuisine, only after 3 months of travelling in Thailand and Vietnam another taste is a welcome change. This pasta dish was perfect. A rich pesto sauce, crunchy croutons and garlicky cherry tomatoes. Oomph...
And don't get me started on the cashew cheese and sourdough bread. Yes!! Thank you for this perfect bread.
Today I came back for lunch, which was also a very pleasant experience. Will come back for sure!
Update: came back for more visits. All the food was amazing. I think I have tastes almost everything off the menu. All good!

Great vegan food. They have traditional vietnamese as well as international food. Savoury and sweet stuff (e.g. smoothie bowls. Highly recommended.

Hmmmmm best local food in Da Nang - Edit
I think this is the best restauant which offers the best local food (and perhaps intern. food) in Danang. I had the Hoi An Style Noodle and it was amazing. Also the cold Golden Milk was delicious. My brother had the bao buns, which were also delicious. The vega burger, which was nice, but not the “best ever” ☺️.

We were served by enthusiastic staff who were happy to give recommendations. All of our food was fantastic- tasting fresh and flavorful. The sauces were perfect.

The food was nice, the restaurant space is well decorated. Like most of the vegan places in Đà Nẵng that cater to foreigners, it’s expensive by local standards. There was quite a long delay between the dishes coming out but it was worth the wait. Their bánh bao steamed buns were very good although small.

You can really see the love for animals in this restaurant - lots of art about it on the menu.

They also offer cooking classes (which I’ve heard from a friend that are amazing)
