Very disappointed

The tacos we got served looked nothing like the pictures in the reviews. They didn’t seem very fresh, were very moist and there was barely any food inside. The whole thing was very plain and no tasty at all. Also there was only two options available at the menu when we came. Maybe cause it was pretty early.
It was quite cheap and place itself looks very nice though. The staff is friendly and speak english.

Pésimo servicio y precios elevados

Es una pena escribir una reseña negativa de un restaurante vegano, pero no merece más. La atención es mala y los precios demasiado altos para lo que ofrecen. No especifican que para hacer válidas sus "promociones" debes comer ahí mismo, tienen que ir varias personas y que cada una califique bien al restaurante en diferentes plataformas en línea. Hacen sentir al cliente como si le estuvieran haciendo un favor en atenderle.

Hay muchas opciones de restaurantes veganos cerca de este, y todas son mejores.

Cons: Atención y servicio deplorable., Precios excesivamente altos.

Incredible

The restaurant is quaint and has a chill atmosphere. The decor is cool and the staff are so nice and welcoming. I had the barbacoa tacos and they were incredible. My family had the lonche de pollo and lonche de barbacoa and they were amazed at how good vegan food was. I highly recommend checking this little spot out

I had vegan tacos they where not very good.

1-the tortilla where dry, like if they are heated in a oven.
2-the soy fake meat was very oily and some big chunk was burnt.

I had a guacamole on the side.
Bad thing about the guacamole it vas i had more coriander them avocado.

I was the only customer. When i left the kitchen was really messy.

Riquísimo con buen precio

Deliciosos platillos típicos mexicanos, como tacos, torta ahogada, botanas... precios buenos y ambiente muy acogedor. Me encantaron la atención y el sabor

first time great second time not the best

ordered tacos the firs time and chile en nogada the second. The chile was not tasty and quite pricy so I was expecting a good plate but it wasnt, the shape and flavor was not as a chile en nogada, I guess it was an old chile. Prices are generally reasonable and they offer free tap water.

Pros: good tacos specially falafel tacos, free water, good prices

Cons: chile en nogada wasnt tasty, there was a dog bothering most the time

absolutely love this place

Super cozy, small local business, ultra friendly amazing presentations & fabulous food. You can just tell the owners care. A little tricky to find on a street under construction and no other open businesses around, but most definitely worth the trip. The sandwich photo I posted was just so amazing & flavourful my fiancé and I had to force ourselves to order an extra one

a Vegan gem in Zona Centro

This was a pleasant surprise for me. It’s a small restaurant nestled in a street off of Calle Reforma. The customer service from Bruno was excellent. I wasn’t sure how to get to the train station, but Bruno walked to Main Street to point out where to go next.

Thanks to Myra (chef) for offering delicious traditional Mexican dishes but creating it Vegan. I really enjoyed the rich flavors of the ceviche (mushrooms) and the salsa that accompanied it was freshly made. For dessert, I had to try their famous tres chocolate tamale. It wasn’t overly sweet which I like. It was a very special experience to eat here. I would definitely come back here again on my next business trip. I enjoyed my dinner so much that I ordered tacos (nopales and assortment of other vegetables) to go.
These are the Vegan restaurants you want more people to know about and try. Next time you visit Guadalajara come to Chi Fonda Vegana, you won’t be disappointed.

Deliciouso

Menú es muy interesante y tienen muchas opciones. Me gusta especialmente que tienen comida typical pero estilo vegana!

Quería a volver a probar todos (o a tener un estómago más grande!)

Comí la torta ahogada y helado, los dos fue super rico! Mi parecen bien también las hamburguesas y hot dogs!

En adición puede ordenar en Uber Eats!

Excellent

I am since long time vegan and have visited many veg places. I can recommend highly Chia. It is vegan, cozy, they serve beer and kitchen is mexican. I are Chile en Nogada. This is a special mexican dish in autumn. It is made with a green chile, rice, pomegranate and a delicious cashewnut sauce. I took then a chocolate ice cream to finish (made freshly with advocado and ice). Service is extremely friendly.
Chia is wrongly postet in the map, just put the adress in Google map. It is about 10 to 15 min walk from cathedral.

Pros: Cozy, Nicely served, Excellent food and beers

excelente servicio

La comida es rica, pero lo mejor es el servicio. El mesero que nos atendió es un sol y súper atento. Hablan inglés y español. Y tienen buena música. El helado de chocolate es hecho al momento y natural. El "agua de piña" es la cereza del pastel.

wow! comida deliciosa y servicio increíble

Hasta ahorita este es el restaurante vegano en Guadalajara con MÁS CORAZÓN que conozco... Y el que tiene mejor servicio y música !! 😍 Su comida sabe a que está hecha con mucho amor, el sabor es distinto, muy bueno!! este es uno de los mejores hot dogs vegetarianos ( veganos) que he probado en 10 años de vegetarianismo.

really nice place and staff

I don't know any Mexican food so I got what the waiter suggested. He speaks english very well. Quiet location and nice interior. Go there for some real vegan Mexican food!

If visiting Guadalajara, make this your first food stop!

By far one of the best vegan restaurants in Guadalajara. The owners were very welcoming and spoke English with us. This restaurant is very clean and nicely decorated. We came to eat here twice only because it was so good and there were plenty of things on the menu to try. Our first day we tried the breaded tacos which are now my favorite of all time tacos along with an amazing brown sugar lemonade drink with chia seeds. You'll definitely leave the place full and happy.

Great food! Excellent service!

Very cozy place with great service. The soya tacos with nopales are delicious! The chocolate tamales are a must try! Ended up going home w/10 more for Christmas Eve dessert?

A GEM

Coolest little building in "old town" Guadalajara. Excellent food. It's local must haves but in vegan form. Not terribly too expensive either. Excellent service and great music selection! I loved this place.
