Decent chicken rice - Edit
Had my first chicken rice here and enjoyed it. Pretty busy Hawker place, and the service could be offered with more of a smile but you get what you pay for.

For the food alone this was great, but the service was really below par. I’m not new to hawker stalls being the son of a Malaysian. However, the guy serving was incredibly rude and almost argumentative. It was bizarre and ruined the food which is what should do all the talking. The roasted chicken was cheap and delicious, just maybe keep any questions and chat sort with the idiot who has an undercut serving. Bit of a moron

Update 29.02.2024: the stall is now opened on Thursdays and the price of dry noodles has gone up a bit to meet inflation..at $5.50...still very yummy. 😋
Read moreFinally got to eat the dry meepok with mushrooms & Omnimeat bak chor at dinner time! This was after missing it twice (realised it closes on Thurs, after I called the owner). the seasoning was well-balanced, with enough gravy, not too salty, and the meepok has the right texture more typical of local noodles.
The tumeric nasi lemak is also very nice, but was sold out. Will visit again soon.

Been here several times & the taste of food is consistent like mee rebus & mushroom noodle. It is near the MRT station so I will drop by again for other items.

Speaking about veg. Bak Chor Mee, both Potong Pasir and Lor 8 Toa Payoh cooked well and yummy. One of my favourite when I craving for noodle.
