Chay means "vegetarian" in Vietnamese. Casual restaurant est. 2012 offering a large menu of mostly vegan food, using vegetables and tofu in the dishes. Sample choices include rice paper rolls with mock meat, coconut curry, tofu salad. Sweet condensed dairy milk is used in the Vietnamese coffee. Open Mon-Fri 11:30-22:00, Sat 17:00-22:00, Sun 13:00-22:00.

Food was delicious but service wasn’t so great. I asked for water 3 times and never received it. I ordered the number 21 as other reviewers have mentioned it’s great. Also ordered some fresh rolls. Number 21 was a curry noodle soup. It was absolutely fantastic and I would certainly order it again.

The food here is really good, one of the best Vietnamese place I tried. As always in Berlin portions are huge. I like the fact this place still looks like the old Berlin, a bit old. For me it's a pro.

The restaurant seemed severly understaffed, we waited about 45 minutes before anyone even took our order and the guy was on the phone this whole time. However, when the food came, it was really good, big portions and very cheap. So go there if you're not in a hurry!

I had fresh Summerrolls with a peanut dip, a spicy Pho and Che Bi, sticky rice mixed with pumpkin in coconut cream and sesame. The Entrée and Main were full of fresh veggies and the dessert was interesting and very tasty.

Authentic vietnamese kitchen run by two women. Almost everything in the menue is vegan. Ingredients are discribed so that you easily can check. You should bring some time with you by a visit. Everyone is relaxed.
