Warmly recommended - Edit
I have enjoyed the delicious food and pleasant atmosphere at Chay Long a few times. The service very accommodating and friendly. The location is wonderful in a quiet area of the otherwise lively Prenzlauerberg. Chay Long gets a warm recommendation from me. I would love to come there again.

amazing vegan duck! - Edit
we had lunch at Chay Long and I’m still thinking about their peanut curry with the vegan duck. I’ve never tasted anything like this. So good! And their dumpling soup was so tasty as well. Cute space 🍜🥟

Alles super lecker - Edit
eine sehr leckere Vorspeise, die "schweinespieße" zusammen mit der Soße waren perfekt.

Nettes vietnamesisches Restaurant - Edit

Nice traditional vietnamese in Berlin - Edit
Very nice traditional Vietnamese place in Berlin. Food is unbelievably good. Came around 2pm and had the pho for €8.90, I believe that was a lunch special menu until 1600hrs and it would normally be €10.90. Coffee is of course really good as well if you’re familiar with Vietnamese coffee. One of the best restaurants I’ve been to in Europe.

Amazing place - Edit
Everything I tried was really good. The vietnamese traditional steamed was really tasty, with a slight sweetness in its dough, and the filling was delicious. The betel leaves wraps were really really good. The noodles were also delicious, the coriander gave a very fresh flavour. Really recommended

Alright meal - Edit
Stopped in for dinner and between 2 people we ordered one large dish (a rice noodle dish with tofu) and two small dishes (banana leaf dumpling and the bao bun). We weren't blown away by our food but it was alright. The noodle dish had some peculiar flavors, there were some herbs included that were quite bitter. My favorite was the bao bun.

Nice vegan duck - Edit
I had a spicy coconut curry with vegan duck. It was nice although not that special. We also shared 2 starters. They were nice but a bit greasy. I didn't get the tea I ordered and they also got the people next to us the wrong drinks twice.

Das Essen war sehr fein abgeschmeckt. Der Fleischersatz schmeckte so gut dass man den Ersatz im Namen fast nicht bemerkt. Wir würden jederzeit wieder hingehen!

Great service and food - Edit
We appreciated the variety of food and the restaurants willingness and ability to modify some dishes to adapt to a soy sensitivity. The food was so fresh and delicious! We ended up sticking around a while to enjoy a chat with someone who works (maybe owns) there. What a lovely place with comfortable seating. It was nice to sit outside to enjoy fresh air on a hot day.

Great Restaurant and Tapas - Edit
Chay Long was the first vegan restaurant I visited in Berlin and I can say it was one of the best restaurants I have tried overall. There is both indoor and outdoor seating available.
Read moreWhen you walk into the dining room you will be greeted by warm lighting and nice decorations. One part of the restaurant has what looks like a plant wall.
I came here with my family who picked it out and we had a bunch of the different tapas to share. While every item was delicious, what really stood out to me was the triangle dumpling which came wrapped in a banana leaf—it was full of umami and had a really unique taste/ texture.
One thing that could be improved is the menus as they appear a bit weathered, however this quite a insignificant detail.
If you are in Berlin be sure to checkout this restaurant!
Pros: Fully vegan, A wide variety of dishes, Good ambiance
