Completely False Vegan Menu - Edit
We asked the waiter why the tofu options were labelled vegetarian rather than vegan (but are then included on the set vegan menu anyway) and he explained that these were fried in the same fat as meat. We therefore decided to go for the vegan chicken options, but were then informed that these were also fried in the same fat as meat.
Read moreI am unsure as to why this restaurant feels that such practices are OK for a vegetarian but not a vegan, and also why options not considered to be suitable for vegans on the a la carte menu are included on the vegan set menu. After trying to decipher the menu for five minutes and trying to work out if anything actually was vegan it became abundantly clear that this is an expensive, slightly blingy restaurant that has no business suggesting that they cater for vegetarians or vegans. We gave up and went to Henderson’s.

Vegan Labelled Options not Vegan - Edit
When looking at the menu, we asked why tofu was not labelled as vegan, and we were told it was cooked in the same oil as non-vegan products. The waiter then told us the vegan chicken also is cooked in non-vegan oil. We left and booked a vegan place instead. Not recommended!

Amazing food and gorgeous views - Edit
Wonderful cocktails and really good vegan food - I had the dragonfruit dish and it was incredible. Clearly labelled menu. Warning hot means HOT here - a spice loving friend could barely tolerate medium. This is a great place for a special celebration.

Fancy vegan vibes - Edit
Really lovely food, drinks and atmosphere. Is a little on the expensive side if you’re getting drinks and a starter but it’s worth it for a special occasion. Nice that there’s a choice of tofu or vegan chicken, or some dishes with just vegetables if preferred.
