Rude owner ruins an otherwise promising spot - Edit
Bad attitude and rude owner undermine everything else this place has to offer. My partner and I were excited to discover this place when we moved to the neighborhood. Great vegan options, delicious coffee, nice space. But the person who I think is the owner is dismissive and stand-offish at best, and occasionally -- like today -- aggressively rude. It's a long narrow space, and my partner and I were sitting at the very back. Like most coffee shops, there was some noise going on, and I thought I had heard them call our order. I went up to check and asked if the drinks sitting on the counter were ours. There was no perceptible response, so I asked the person in question, "Are these the oat milk lattes." He acted like I had just thrown something at him. He looked up and, glaring at me, said slowly and condescendingly, "YESSS..." We had gone there to hang out, read, and enjoy our breakfast sandwiches and coffee, but it was hard to do that with that kind of vibe right as we were arriving. We thought maybe he was just having a bad day again, but then noticed that he was friendly and chatty with all the young hipsters who came in after us. So not sure if he just doesn't like how we look? Not going to guess what kind of bias could be at play, but it is honestly as disappointing as it is odd. I would love to keep going, but it is hard to want to give someone your money who treats you like crap.

Everything you need, super reasonable prices. - Edit
Stopped in for my first time today to grab a cold brew and vegan sandwich. Walked in to a beautiful shop with plenty of seating and a variety of it (low chairs and tables, barn table, high counter top seating) and nice sound isolation from the street outside. Got a cold brew which was very flavorful black. I got a breakfast sammy too which was only $7 which I felt to be a super solid price. I feel like going out for coffee and a v sammy usually rings you upwards of $20, not the case here. Nice for cute morning solo or with friends.
Read moreOnly downside if im being picky was the oat milk is the kind that separates in cold beverages. I can't imagine that is an issue for everyone though hahaha.
Pros: Friendly Staff, Delish Coffee, Good Value
Cons: Oatmilk Separation

I completely agree! This place has such a cozy atmosphere and the prices are great. I also noticed the oat milk thing, but it's such a minor issue compared to everything else this café offers.

Delicious!! - Edit
I got the vegan breakfast sandwich (just egg & beyond patty with some tofutti on an english muffin) a hashbrown and a cold brew coffee and all of it was wonderful! They also had a nice assortment of vegan pastries from shoofly. I believe their house coffee is prepared as pour over which is pretty cool, you can tell they take pride and care in the craft. Overall a very welcoming atmosphere, & the barista that helped me out was knowledgeable and kind. Will definitely be returning :))

Rock on! - Edit
I often stop here for a bagel and pastry. Though none are made in-house, they are from local businesses. My partner likes the strong cold brew, and I appreciate them allowing him to use his own mug. Cool rock decor--think geology, not music.
