Canela is amazing. They have such an extensive variety of vegan booked goods that it’s astounding. The majority of the items are sweet (including donuts and pop tarts), but they have a few savoury items too (including sausage rolls and frittata) along with a selection of gluten free items. We visited just before Xmas so we were able to enjoy seasonal drinks including peppermint matcha and oat nog lattes. Canela are on the “must” list for the next time we are in Calgary.

Then I indulged with a carrot cake, because a client was saying how good it was. Guess am easily influenced haha.
I can confirm the carrot cake is so delicious!
Also had a decaf soy latte.

One of my favorite places for vegan foods. Even though this would be easy to make, the bagel itself makes the sandwich more tasty. Wish they would have their cheese bun as a staple. Sweet and savoury snacks are pricey, but good.

Wir hatten das Schoko-Haselnuss & das Erdbeercroissant, 2 Cookies, eine Pizza Rolle und das Cheese & Ham… ich fand alles war sehr lecker. Das erdbeercroissant gab es für 50% da Ware vom Vortag. Das hat nicht anders geschmeckt als die anderen leckeren Backwaren. Klare Empfehlung 😍

Great variety of beautiful sweet pastries and savoury snacks. The seasonal drink menus seem to be worth trying. Had a cookie, croissant, danish and tried the seasonal cold matcha with strawberry whip. It was amazing. Loved it all!

Fantastic all vegan treats. Great friendly customer service. Great energy and a very clean establishment. Check for their clearance bread section. You can save some money on yesterday‘s spread that taste Wonderful. Highly recommended.

Amazing vegan bakery! - Edit
This place is so cute, always busy, and its no wonder, I can't believe its all vegan. Everything I've tried here is incredible. We got the strawberry croissant and tiramisu cruffin our first time here and both were incredible. When we were back in Calgary for mother's day, we brought a bunch of pastries to our friend, and brought my parents for coffees and treats because its just that good. My only complaint, the staff on till don't know how the drinks are made, so although they said they could accommodate my drink modification, the barista was unable to comply and we didn't know until the drink was paid for and made. Overall though, the best vegan bakery I've been to!
