One of the most delicious things I had in Germany - Edit
After more than one week in Germany I FINALLY tried a franzbrötchen there (vegan of course), I took their cinnamon-apple one which was absolutely marvelous. I would definitely recommend it :)

Read moreDas Frühstück Vegane Liebe war einfach ein Frühstück mit zweimal Hummus, einer halben Avocado, einer winzigen Portion Scrambled Tofu, Marmelade und Schokoaufstrich. Dazu eine Scheibe Vollkornbrot, ein Brötchen und ein Croissant. Außerdem gab es verschiedenes Obst und Gemüse. Darüber verteilt war Sesam...also wirklich viel Sesam. Das hat dann auch nichts mit Anrichten zu tun. Geschmacklich war es okay aber nicht wirklich herausragend. Chai und Cappuccino haben wir auch schon deutlich bessere getrunken.

I had the tofu scramble on two slices of bread, it was okay all in all, but pretty salty (too much for me), very moist and had much turmeric in it - it didn’t give me eggy-vibes at all.
The breakfast plate only contains spreads (jam, vegan “Nutella”, hummus, scramble) with bread / buns and some pieces of fruit / salad leaves. A little more variety like some soy yogurt, müsli, carrot lax - anything beside bread and spread would be nice.

Definitely worth coming - either for breakfast (they have some mixed platters, bowls and open sandwiches) or afternoon Kaffee and Kuchen. They offer a few dry cakes and croissants, Franzbrötchen and of course their famous waffles!

All I tried here was their coffee and a slice of something savory from the case. It looked like a quiche but it was more of a bread with veggies and some plant-based cheese that was very feta like. I loved it! It was very flavorful. I look forward to coming back and trying more things here. The coffee was excellent too.

Lovely ambiente, great waffles - Edit
We went for lunch and thoroughly enjoyed our short stay. The cafe is cozy, even if there is a lot of shuffling around as you have to order at the counter and the space is limited. The Buddha bowl was ok, nothing out of this world, but the waffles were amazing. I had the feta bread and that was also very tasty and filling, the coffee was alright.

Das Frühstück konnte uns nicht wirklich überzeugen. Haben Verschiedenes probiert, die Aufstriche schmeckten etwas fade, das vegane Rührei hätte man ebenfalls mehr würzen können und die Waffeln waren uns zu trocken. Dies kann jedoch auch daran gelegen haben, dass eine Menge los war. Dabei hätten wir uns über mehr Flexibilität gefreut, denn man versicherte uns, die Tische könnten nicht verschoben werden, sodass wir uns zu fünft an einen kleinen runden Tisch quetschen mussten. Schade!

We absolutely loved this place. It is a very cozy restaurant with plenty of room to sit outside at a nice, quiet and green spot in the Prenzlauer Berg district. We loved the waffles with fresh fruit and vegan cream, the Prenzlberger Liebe (with different home-made spreads, veggies and walnuts) and Oderberger Strasse (scrambled tofu on bread with veggies).

Because they don't take reservations and are quite small, keep in mind that you will have to be waiting in line to get a table, but the breakfast was worth it! I had a vegan Belgian waffle w/ Banana and chocolate and some bread with olive and sundried tomato spread and it was so good! The vegan hot chocolate is also delicious!

I went here on a Sunday morning without thinking it through. It was packed with people having Sunday brunch and so I almost didn’t get a table, but staff were very friendly and helpful! It is such a pretty cafe to just sit and people watch. I got the fruit waffles and an iced matcha latte which were both gorgeous but I expected the waffle to come with ice cream and more fruit.
