We had the vegan cinnamon roll, potato empanada, and a coconut milk latte. All of it was amazing. Highly recommend the cinnamon roll. Everything is also very well priced- we only paid about 5,000 colones for everything. They have almond and coconut milk, and multiple vegan pastries/snacks.

Had a cinnamon roll and it’s was sooo big and sooo good! Also tried the iced coffee with coconut milk (they also have almond milk). It was really delicious! Quality coffee from their own farm. You can have a free coffee taste and try the different ways of producing the coffee. Also a very cozy place!

Santa Elena in general has plenty of vegan options but this Café was the first one I wanted to try:) I had a cinnamon roll and a empanada and they were both really good. The cinnamon roll was so huge I was surprised that I good finish it but it was very soft.

The cafe is situated in the middle of Santa Elena. We have been there several times during our stay. They have a few vegan options including a cinnamon roll, banana cake and a empanada with potatoes. They also serve almond and coconut milk as a vegan option for their hot drinks but you have to pay 100 Colones more for that. Definitely go there and try the cinnamon roll if you are in the area - it is delicious!

I have found in Costa Rica it’s very hard to find soy milk and I have a nut allergy so almond is not an option. Coconut milk really helped

Was able to feed the whole family.. my dairy free boys and my vegetarians! The cinnamon roll was amazing. The dairy free empanadas were delicious.. we had one with potatoes (all vegan), and one with chicken. The coffe was great too. The cute designs are a nice touch.

Loved this cafe. Good knowledge of vegan food, I had a vegan potato empanada, vegan banana and chocolate cake and hot chocolate with soya milk. Good price, lovely decor, friendly staff and good food. They don’t offer loads of food, but when I went, about half of it was vegan. It was so delicious, I forgot to take pictures!

Poco a poco fui probando la mayoría de las opciones veganas de la carta. Todos los dulces están buenísimos pero el bizcocho de maracuya (pan de maracuyá) es increible. Esponjosísimo y sabor intenso a maracuyá. Cuando ponen las pepitas enteras las pepitas crujen y es una delicia.

Entre las bebidas puedes encontrar smoothies y chocolate caliente con leche vegetal (tienen varias). Les sobró chocolate caliente y me lo dieron en una taza extra😄todo un detalle

Probably the best cafe I have visited in Costa rica. Almost all of the sweet cakes and pastries were vegan and there was also one vegan salty pastry option. The coffee is great (soy and almond milk available) and staff really friendly and helpful.

Read more(I think they sold out of it everyday from me and my 🌱 friends while we were in Monteverde) there is also a lovely health store beside it (I think same owner) with plenty of vegan food, fresh fruit & veg, beauty products etc
There is a food place in the same building( I think it’s the same owners) that has the tastiest falafel bagel or ciabatta. Full of flavor and not dry at all. Happy Travels 💚
P.S it is quite a bit out of the main centre if you do not have transportation but 100% worth it and will be on your way to the reserve

Lovely cosy cafe with soy & almond milk and quite a good selection vegan baked goods - just ask the staff and they let you know which ones! The cinammon rolls are so so good!
