Lovely cafe

There's a great vibe at Cafe Kino, run by a co-op in a large space. It has a good range of breakfasts (until 11.30am)and lunch options.

Pros: Great coffee, A range of sweet things, Walking distance from the city centre

Cute Place

Really nice here, all vegan so billions of options. They do lush cakes, coffees and usually savoury stuff too, I’ve had a sausage roll a couple times that was delish!

Pros: All vegan, Yummy

Really nice atmosphere - busy!!

I just got a latte which was really nice - but they have an amazing menu with some bakery items and packaged snacks by the till. I had to wait quite a while for my drink but it was midday on a sunday so it makes sense it was rammed. Lots of seating!

Great for breakfast/brunch

Had the breakfast muffins (sausage patty, tofu egg patty & cheese), mochas and a banoffee milkshake. Food was quick to come and tasty. No problems with service that previous reviewers have noted. Nice vibes- like an old school working class cafe with a hipster twist & feels like it serves a range of people from the community. Would recommend! #Veganuary

burgers are delish and well priced

i’ve been going to cafe kino for years! the burgers are delish! my go to is the spicy bean burger and the spicy chikn burger! i’ve tried a lot of vegan chikn burgers but this one of my favs !!! so reasonably priced. supporting a local business. i hope it stays in business for as long as possible. It wouldn’t be the same without it.

Pros: lots of vegan options , supporting a local bristol staple , spacious and airy

Cons: tables can be unkept

Lovely little greasy spoon style cafe

Great little cafe, big menu with several options entirely vegan. Sausages sadly aren’t very nice & gave an easy area of criticism for a non-vegan friend but the rest lovely. Would recommend!

Pros: Entirely vegan , Several options, good quality , Nice staff & vibe

Nice breakfast

We came here for breakfast one morning, had a full kino which was lovely and tasty, satisfied our craving for a English breakfast. Took a little time to arrive but understandable with just one person cooking. The staff member that took orders and made drinks was very friendly. Overall it was a pleasure to go.

Disappointed

I read the reviews here and saw the pictures so decided to eat here in my one day visit to Bristol
Staff was not very friendly with me. No gluten free bread. Portion quite small for the price. Would not recommend

Garlic Chkn Burger 🧄

Came in just before 1pm knowing we were a bit late for the breakfast and got told they were low on stock for the breakfast and the chef was about to go on their break (only one chef on this day due to staff shortages). Luckily the chef agreed to stay on a little longer for us!
We had the Garlic Chkn Burger and it didn’t disappoint. The garlic sauce was super overpowering and the chicken burger was quite peppery, but overall it was really nice.
We’ll be back again, hopefully in time for the breakfast!

Pros: Fully vegan menu, Really good quality, Friendly staff

Cons: Flavours need a little work, Possible staff/stock shortages

Wonderful!

The food here is always satisfying and has an amazing homely feel to it, I would definitely recommend, especially in the past year or so with more fake meats being introduced alongside the classic bean burger!

Pros: Amazing food , Satisfying portions

Nice little cafe

Completely vegan which I always love. I liked the ability to have half a breakfast because I always find a whole one a bit much. They didn't have any milkshakes when we went, which was a shame. The mac and cheese had a bit of an odd texture too. But the vibe of the place is nice and the smoothies are lovely.

Very tasty!

Ordered a bit everything from their current lockdown menu - classic bean burger, chickpea and walnut salad, cheesy kale farinata - everything was delicious, would definitely order from here again.

Pros: Very accommodating

Just a bit meh

The staff seemed really uninterested unfortunately, miss heard our order a few times and then some of it was forgotten. Luckily the food was fairly nice!
Unfortunately wouldn't bother visiting again when there are so many vegan places in Bristol.

Pros: All vegan

Cons: Sold out of a lot of items, Uninterested staff, Over priced

Cool little Cafe

Kino is one of the OG vegan places in Bristol. The food is fresh and excellently cooked the menu isn't huge but everything tastes absolutely amazing, combined with the cool vibe and aesthetic it's definitely one of my favourite places to eat.

Nice vibe

I can’t comment on the full menu as the kitchen wasn’t open when I was there, but the vibe of the cafe is friendly. However it was expensive as hell! £9.50 for a drink and pasta salad 😰

Poor service

Really disappointed to wait in line for 10 minutes behind just two customers, whilst two others were in the kitchen not preparing any food just chatting, and not be acknowledged at all and then what was listed as the soup of the day there was no more of at 12:30. Would love to give these guys a second chance!

Fantastic burger

I’m not a fan of vegan junk food that tastes just as overprocessed as its non-vegan counterparts, and so it was nice to have a burger and fries that actually tasted like real food! I had the classic burger with curly fries and the bean salad. The tomato relish was fresh, the mayo (got the garlic mayo, which I highly recommend) wasn’t goopy, the patty was made from beans but still unique and tasty, the roll soft and flavorful, and the curly fries were on point. The place has a cool atmosphere, and I highly recommend.

Pros: Great options, Good quality food, Cafe is more than a money-making venture

Cons: Seating can be hard to come by because it’s busy

Yummy food and great place.

Had a late lunch there. Sausage sandwich for me, falafel, Pitta and salad for him. Both substantial helpings of yumminess. Polished it off with a shared slice of moist and gorgeous vegan chocolate cake. Lovely place, great for sitting and watching the world go by. Friendly staff. Hope I have time during my stay to go there for breakfast too 😊
