Mit viel Erwartungen wegen den guten Bewertungen gekommen. Süße Einrichtung, cutes Konzept und nette Bedienung. Leider trotzdem etwas enttäuscht. Keine Toiletten, das Essen klang vielversprechend, war jedoch nicht wirklich herausragend. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis hat leider auch nicht so sehr gestimmt:(

To make it short: simply the best vegan cake in Cologne. If you have a sweet tooth, you need to go there.

If it's crowded, you can take your cake (or a great selection of soups, quiches, salads etc!) home (you can bring your own boxes)or just wait: one of Cologne's finest record stores is right next door; do some shopping and try again later 😉

Not far from the cathedral, a small shop next to the record store. We came in to kill some time before our train home, after avery long day walking Cologne with kids in tow. Everything was amazing, Laura spoke English and took amazing care of us. We hung out for 2 hours. You can't go wrong with anything you order here and the hospitality was tops. I would come back to Cologne just to visit this cafe and the Dom. Do not miss this place!!! And everything is vegan!!!

Ein kleines gemütliches und individuelles Café mit vielen Leckereien. Es gab diverse Kuchen und auch ein paar herzhafte Speisen wie Suppe oder Quiche. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Es gibt nicht viele Tische, es kann also gut sein, dass man zu Stoßzeiten einen kleinen Zeitpuffer mitbringen muss, aber es lohnt sich. 😁

Ich kann von mir sagen, dass ich es als sehr entspannend wahrnehme, wenn ich wirklich weiß, dass alles in einem Café vegan ist und ich mir keine Gedanken machen muss, dass vielleicht doch etwas mit meiner Bestellung nicht klappen könnte. Wenn mal wieder von einem Gefühl übermannt wird, dass alles um einen herum nur aus Wahnsinn besteht, ist Café Hibiskus echt ein guter Ort, um sich dort in rein veganer Wohlfühl-Atmosphäre zu entspannen.

Bis dahin kann ich so viel schon sagen, dass ich wirklich absolut begeistert war vom hausgemachten Limette-Gurken-Eis. Unglaublich erfrischend und auch das Matcha-Eis wird von Löffel zu Löffel köstlicher.

… exists and it is in Cologne. Fully vegan menu, super nice staff, excellent cakes, pies and coffees - what more could you ask for? Since the place is really tiny you might reserve a place before coming, especially on the weekend. I had a raspberry-mascarpone pie (alongside cappuccino and housemade lemonade) and it was otherworldly good. When it comes to cafés, I need nothing else.

Unfortunately they open in the moment only from Friday to Sunday a few hours. A very small place without facilities ( there is another cafe near by where you can use it).
Read moreI love the raw cakes, every week another one. But all cakes are made with love, really incredible. The price is it worth. They have a small menu, never tried it, because I have to eat a piece of raw cake. Gluten-free is very easy here.
Finally I came again. I bought my cake to go, because, every table was occupied.
Prices are now very high. The cake was very good, but for 4,50€ for a small piece of cake, I will bake at home. Sorry!
