scrumptious pasteis de nata - Edit
Loved the pasteis de nata! They have several vegan flavours, but original is already perfect. The cream filling is delicious, the crust crispy and flaky. Had to go back for a second one.

So good! - Edit
My first vegan Portuguese custard tart so I don’t have anything to compare it too but it was so good! The pastry was so flaky and the custard was so good… I could have easily eaten 3!

First ever Nata! - Edit
Really enjoyed the pastry from here. Got one to take away to try and wish I had gotten more! Vegan pastries are clearly labelled.

Worth travelling miles for! - Edit
Read moreThese pastel de natas are incredible! You wouldn’t even know they’re vegan and have no egg in.
We had one of each vegan flavour with fresh fruit on and oh my- we would happily travel the hour back to get another box of those bad boys.
Stunning!
Pros: Incredible

Crunchy and straight out of the oven - Edit
I was lucky to get pastries that where recently baked. They were so good!
Read moreCreamy, crunchy and yummy!
Tried vegan and chocolate chip pastels.
Out of these 2, I recommend the vegan (classic) one! Super tasty, and more authentic.
Chocolate chip one was too sweet.
It makes you lose track of typical pastel de nata taste.
Pros: Vegan option, Straight out og the oven , Crunchy
Cons: Pricey

Absolutely amazing! - Edit
Such a delicious vegan raspberry pastel de nata. Textures and flavours fab. £2.50 each.
Read moreIt’s a shame it’s extra for non dairy milk though, as the pastel de Natas are already extra for vegans
Pros: Delicious
Cons: Extra charge for milk alternatives

a decent taste of portugal - Edit
as a portuguese myself, i was quite excited to try their vegan version of pasteis de nata - i had them for take-away and i gotta say they were fairly decent, not the best but surely not the worse either… however if you have tried actual pasteis de nata you know these have a different texture (not just bc they are vegan - bc i have tried vegan natas in portugal and they had the excellent texture and taste of the non-vegan ones…)

Vegan pastel de nata! - Edit
They make pastel de nata in several different flavours but the vegan one is only available in traditional flavour, which in my opinion is the best. Really tasty! We’ve waited 20min for it to be ready, but it was fresh, warm and worth it!

Wait, I havent done a review for here before? - Edit
I LOVE THIS PLACE! I come every time I’m in Camden - theyre one of the best vegan cakes ive ever had. I’d never had a non vegan one so I have nothing to compare them too but theyre so smooth and tasty. A bit small for £2.50 but I havent seen them anywhere else before and tbh im willing to pay £4.50 for donuts so I can hardly complain hahaha

I used to eat pastel de nata all the time, but this is the first vegan one I had. Tasty, flaky, fresh from the oven. I ate 2 and would have bought more if they hadn’t sold out already.

Disappointing - Edit
I entered the store with a small dog and waited for 10min because there were other people ordering. No one said sth about the dog until it was my turn. The lady refused to serve me then for take away which would have lasted two min 🤨😒

A little taste of Portugal 🇵🇹 - Edit
I haven’t had a Nata since living in Portugal a couple of years ago so I was excited to try one here when I stumbled across this shop! It was just like the vegan natas I had in Lisbon. A delicious treat - highly recommended.

Delicious treat - Edit
A nata is a type of egg custard that comes from Portugal. This place offers a vegan nata. To be sure, that is not a lot—but how many natas are you going to eat anyway? If you want a vegan treat, and you go to a place called Cafe de Nata—it’s pretty obvious what you are going to get, so the choice might as well be made for you.😄The natas here are small, but filling.
Read moreThe first time I visited this place, by the way, they were out of vegan natas—if that is the case, don’t worry, there are plenty of other vegan desserts in the Camden Market.

Cafe De Nata - Edit
Just like the Vegan Nata I had in Portugal. DELICIOUS. My non-vegan partner tried both the vegan and non-vegan and preferred the vegan option. This is a must-try if you're in the area.

Vegan Natas! - Edit
This traditional Portuguese pastry is so good. I love that they have special prices and bundles for their vegan nata. They only have one vegan option which mimicks the "classic." The rest are vegetarian. #Veganuary
