A non-profit that makes around 500 vegan burritos on the last Monday of every month from 4-6:30pm. Then volunteers distribute them by bike, car, or walking. In exchange for volunteering you are welcome to a burrito.
First time we went into a homeless tent camp under a bridge I was a bit afraid it could be unsafe (this is probably because of all the screaming, aggressive homeless along Market street and in SoMa). I was wrong. Everybody was polite and thankful. One guy asked if he could have another burrito for his wife. Really shows you how a large portion of San Francisco homeless are not mentally ill or drug addicts. They're just struggling economically.
This is an all volunteer organization. Making vegan burritos to feed the hungry Help volunteer do some good and enjoy a burrito Check Facebook page to find the upcoming dates
